Blocked

[edit]

Unblock

[edit]

Hello, I understand that I'm blocked and I wish to know the specific reason why, please.

The reason is given above, because evidence shows that you are the same person that edited as Sennick4858, also known as JohnLickor372, many other account names, and hundreds of different IPs. This person has been indefinitely blocked for disruptive editing, including adding "History" sections without reliable sources, which are often copyright violations, as well as unnecessary "History" headings and sub-headings to literally thousands of articles. They have also abusively used multiple accounts to avoid their block. Numerous other editors have had to spend large amounts of time finding and undoing the disruption; I have personally spent at least several weeks of my volunteer time doing so over the past year and half. Again, the evidence shows you are this person. Please, please, please stop editing Wikipedia! I understand you believe you are helping, but you are not.
If you wish to make an unblock request, you must follow the instructions above, read the guide to appealing blocks, then place this text below: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} You must include the brackets etc. Please note that as a sockpuppet of JohnLickor372 etc., there is basically no chance you will be unblocked. I will ask you again, please stop editing, and find something else to do! --IamNotU (talk) 22:58, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Support worker? Huh? Regardless, this is not an actual request to get unblocked so I am declining it. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 06:55, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Okay, but in order to have my account unblocked, I'm going to have my support worker email you tomorrow and we'll discuss a way forward. Many thanks. BWilliams89. So it's just best for me to view more pages in the meantime. Have a lovely day.— Preceding unsigned comment added by BWilliams89 (talkcontribs) 02:46, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I would be happy to discuss this with your support worker. They can post a note here, without needing a Wikipedia account. They can also e-mail me privately from this link: Special:EmailUser/IamNotU, but would need to create an account first. I think you can also e-mail me from your account, even though you are blocked, but I'm not sure. --IamNotU (talk) 12:04, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I haven't received any e-mail. Your unblock request was denied by the admin because you didn't fill out the "reason" part. Please do show this page to your support worker or someone else you trust, so they can help you with it. I would be eager for them to get in touch directly and discuss things going forward if possible. In the meantime, it's very important that you don't make any more edits to Wikipedia! Any edit you make, even while logged out - like the one to the Mongu article - is going to be undone. The block applies to you, as a person, not just the account. Thanks for your understanding. --IamNotU (talk) 09:16, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
