[edit]Hello, I'm Samf4u. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Harry East, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Samf4u (talk) 02:03, 28 April 2019 (UTC)

- Hi! you have found a source to back up your edit. Now we just have to properly format as an inline citation. - Samf4u (talk) 02:14, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
I've cited them in the past but once or twice and I forget how to properly do it.
- It's easy, while in the edit box place your curser where you want the inline citation to appear then click the pull down menu "Templates" at the top (you may have to click on "Cite" first). Choose cite web, news, book or journal and fill in as much info as possible, then click insert. If the article already has inline citations in a "References" section you're done. If not simply add a ==References== section and place ({{Reflist}}) right below it. And please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~). - Happy editing! - Samf4u (talk) 14:48, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
Your draft article, Draft:Keoni Cavaco
[edit]Hello, BFlamer99. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Keoni Cavaco".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

[edit]Hello, I'm Muboshgu. Your recent edit to the page Alex Verdugo appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:32, 8 February 2020 (UTC)

Image issues
[edit]You have uploaded several historical images for which you have incorrectly identified yourself ("BFlamer99") as the "Author" and the "Source" as "Own work". The images at issue are:
- File:Larry Gardner Colorized by Cody Belles.png
- File:Aleck Smith Colorized by Cody Belles.png
- File:Dummy Taylor Colorized by Cody Belles.png
- File:Clara Bow Hollywood Baseball, 1926 colorized by Cody Belles.png
- File:Rube Waddell Colorized by Cody Belles.png
- File:Luke Stuart Color Photo.png
- File:Urban Shocker New York Yankees Color Photo.png
- File:John Titus Color Photo.png
- File:Boston Beaneaters Catcher, Charlie Dexter, Color Photograph.png
- File:Al Maul basseball.png
- File:Eli Rosebraugh.png
- File:Bob Gandy 1916.jpg
In fact, these appear to be pre-existing images (see, e.g., File:Larry Gardner, Cleveland AL (baseball) LCCN2014713272.tif, File:Aleck Smith.jpg, and File:DummyTaylorLOC.jpg) which you have simply colorized, cropped, or otherwise edited in some manner. Your work in this respect may well be useful, but this does not make the underlying image "your work." You need to modify the descriptions to include proper sourcing and attribution information on the underlying images, and also include appropriate license/rationale showing that the underlying images are in the public domain or otherwise eligible for publication on Wikimedia Commons. Unless this information is added promptly, these images will need to be deleted. Cbl62 (talk) 23:19, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Bronson Sardinha. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:59, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
It's a link to Bronson Sardinha's website I added it as a source since me adding in the part about his website was a apparently "unsourced" this doesn't deserve a warning.

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message
[edit]The article Charles Nelson Brown has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The subject of this article does not meet Wikipedia's notability criteria for baseball players, any other of Wikipedia's notability guidelines or a dictionary definition of notability. Nothing links to it and it links to nothing.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:01, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

List of suicides
[edit]Hi. Thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to List of suicides, as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept uncited material. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Speedy deletion nomination of Rit Harrison
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Rit Harrison requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 2A00:23EE:2678:4134:583B:A1FF:FE9B:452B (talk) 20:05, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
