Speedy deletion nomination of Rajeev R Samuel Vedakkan
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Rajeev R Samuel Vedakkan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.bongroup.org/founder_chamber.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Even if the copyright issue were resolved, this material would not be acceptable, because it is written in a promotional tone quite unsuitable for an encyclopedia article, which requires a WP:Neutral point of view.
- Article subjects need to have notability, which is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Independent references are necessary, not only to establish notability, but also to enable an article to be written from an outside point of view, which is more than just the story the subject wishes to tell the world.
- There is good advice on how to write an acceptable article at WP:Your first article. JohnCD (talk) 13:37, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
Your submission at Articles for creation: Rajeev R Samuel Vedakkan (September 21)
[edit]- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Rajeev R Samuel Vedakkan and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
- If you need any assistance, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk or on the reviewer's talk page.
- You can also use Wikipedia's real-time chat help from experienced editors.
- I have deleted the draft, for the same copyright reasons as explained above. Wikipedia cannot hold copyright material, not even in draft pages, not even temporarily. In any case, as explained above and by the AfC reviewer, this material is not suitable for an encyclopedia article. JohnCD (talk) 17:27, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
Hello! B-On,

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a business listing directory or a place for companies to tell the world about themselves.
If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. JohnCD (talk) 21:41, 21 September 2016 (UTC)- A username of the form "Robert at B-on" would be acceptable, and would serve to declare your interest, but before requesting unblock please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide.
