Fair use rationale for File:StateWomanFightsforOfficer.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:StateWomanFightsforOfficer.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 06:24, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:StateWomanFightsforOfficerFreedom.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:StateWomanFightsforOfficerFreedom.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. WP:BLP and Thich Tri Quang
[edit]Your link doesn't refer to him studying communism. That's a BLP violation YellowMonkey (bananabucket) 06:17, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Alex Bakharev (talk) 00:12, 8 January 2010 (UTC)I have no other options but to block you after your repeated insertion of unreferenced negative information on the living person despite other users' urging not to do it. When your block is expired please follow WP:BLP it is an important policy protecting WMF foundation from litigation and living subjects of Wikipedia article from libel. If you add negative info about a living or recently deceased person find multiple reliable sources before adding it to wiki Alex Bakharev (talk) 00:20, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:
I am unfairly blocked. I started an article on "Dang Sy" because the subject was not fairly represented in articles written by YellowMonkey. YellowMonkey did not use inline citations for his articles. While I try to keep my article balanced, YellowMonkey purposefully misconstrued the article without citing any references in YellowMonkey's insertions. I tried to modify the article to fit YellowMonkey's insertions but YellowMonkey quickly reverted it. I went over articles with his contributions and noticed that they are mostly one sided, not balanced as Wikipedia's intent of encyclopedic contents. I tried to do 2 insertions with references from 3 different sources on YellowMonkey's article for "Thich Tri Quang". YellowMonkey immediately reverted the article as well. This started an undo effort between the two articles for the two of us. I do not see why admin Alex Bakharev see this pattern. His action was based on a comment put up by YellowMonkey that I violated living person biography. This is certainly not true. My insertions were referenced from 3 different sources. YellowMonkey only has to read them on Google book and US State department. The browser has CTR-F to do quick search, I do not need to tell YellowMonkey what line to read. Contacting admin Alex Bakharev is not possible because his site says he is on vacation. Again, I do not think this is fair. I look forward to hear from Wikipedia admins; I always have great respect for Wikipedia's encyclopedia and its freedom of speech and expression. --Azoo202 (talk) 6:53 am, Today (UTC+3)
Decline reason:
You simply do not accept the reason for your block and I am sure you will continue to edit inappropriately if you are unblocked. I have upped your block to indefinite, which does not mean forever but does mean until you show that you understand our BLP policy and will agree to not making edits that breach BLP. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
I will not update Thich Tri Quang page again. I understand Wikipedia's concern about implications drawn about living person. Admin Alex Bakharev only indicate the block was from repeated attempts to undo.
Decline reason:
I might have been open to an unblock, but your apparent lack of understanding about the GFDL makes it out of the question. Blueboy96 00:49, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

Request to retain ownership of images
[edit]I am requesting the admins that my images not to be moved to Wikimedia Commons. I am claiming copyrights under GNU as specified by Wikipedia. Thank you.
- Images under GFDL can be reused anywhere ... that's the point. The GFDL is irrevocable as well. Your request is doubly moot. Daniel Case (talk) 16:33, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
Contradicting information
[edit]The article "Dang Sy" is contradictory. Some times it said 9 people died while some said 8. It also says Major Dang Sy ordered soldiers to shoot. Please include your sources and inline citations. If unreferenced, please remove. --Azoo202 (talk) 02:09, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
Contradicting information
[edit]Why does the reference at the end of the article got deleted while #1 is still left on. They both go beyond the scope of "Vesak Shooting". This article is not an extension of "Vesak Shooting". --Azoo202 (talk) 03:28, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
