Your edits to infoboxes

[edit]

Hello! While quite a lot of your infobox edits are helpful, I admit I am wary of how you treat one-volume series. Just because a series has only one volume currently doesn't mean it can't get more in the future. If you change |first to |published, it makes it seem that way to the reader, which is misleading and often incorrect. As for your edits regarding films, if the film has a separate article, giving it more than a link in the infobox often clogs it up and makes it unreasonably long. Link20XX (talk) 05:48, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nice catch, that never occurred to me. Should I leave the infoboxes unedited/revert the ones I've already changed? Azbridge (talk) 06:03, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Unless there is a source that the series will only be one volume, I would revert. Same with the film changes if the film has a separate article. Link20XX (talk) 06:18, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the advice! I'll make sure to avoid messing up like this in the future. Azbridge (talk) 06:26, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No worries! Everyone screws up a lot. Link20XX (talk) 06:31, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
