[edit]Hello, I'm Bridget. I noticed that in this edit to James Gunn, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Bridget (talk) 13:56, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to James Gunn, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. [edit]I'm trying to keep things family friendly Avocado616 (talk) 13:58, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Avocado616. I've reverted your edit to Bingo (1991 film) since we don't censor information for family-friendliness - please see the page WP:CENSOR for more info.
- I think it would be better if, instead, you removed stuff that violates Wikipedia's policies/guidelines or the U.S. law. I think that way you can better help with improving Wikipedia. Thanks and happy editing! Bridget (talk) 14:16, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
I don't like what you're saying. Please don't intervene in my editing in the future Avocado616 (talk) 15:50, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- My bad! I think your edits to Bingo (1991 film) were definitely an improvement, since it removed some totally unnecessary details. What I'm saying is more relevant to James Gunn's article - the text you removed from the article is already discussed by reliable news reports. Wikipedia is only repeating what those news articles (and other reliable sources) are saying in different words, and we can't choose to delete some of the parts just because they seem offensive to us.
