Don't be disheartened by Transhumanist Art being put up for AfD! LinaMishima 04:42, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You stated on the AfD that you have more than 50 references, which means that the article should be savable from the AfD. Here are my thoughts about your options:

  1. Allow the article to be deleted, stating that you will work on it in userspace, at User:Avantguarde\Transhumanist Art. This way you are seen as being civil, and you will be able to finish the article without any interferance. Once you are done with writing it, you can then move it back to article space.
  2. Add all the references now, in a list at the bottom of the article. It's ugly, but it makes the point that the article needs work on the writing rather than sourcing.
  3. Significantly rewrite the text. Currently, it is my opinion that the article reads appaulingly, which does not help people to find in favour of it. I suspect that the current paragraphs are extracts from a source.

Good luck with this! LinaMishima 04:42, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[Transhumanist Art]]

[edit]

I only worked on the page for 5 minutes!! This is amazing. I had just started writing when someone came on and deleted my text and then put the article up for deletion. This unprofessional, rude and coersive.

I will work on the references today. The text is taken from an article and I was given permission to quote it. Isn't it ok to use text and put it in quotes and give credit to the author?

I like your suggestion of putting it in a space to work on. But how do I do this? Avantguarde 17:19, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am closing the AfD as a keep as a result of the additions that you've made, but ask that you do the following:
