Christ Catholic Church (Pruter)'s move request

You have relisted my page move request at Talk:Christ Catholic Church (Pruter)#Requested move 14 December 2021 despite the fact no one opposed the page move ( ⁠BarrelProof" who "Lean[ed] toward a merge instead" said he was "Not objecting [the RM] at this point"). I relisted due to lack of overall participation, and because a merge was suggested. I was hoping that relisting in combination with notifying the wikiproject (something I do often with mixed results) would garner more discussion about the merge to help settle on a lasting decision. I feel relisting is fairly safe in such cases, as the move request can still be closed at any point if anybody feels it is ready. (Which for the record, it likely is at this point and was then, I just don't ever want us to miss a chance for somebody's opinion to be heard) ASUKITE 14:27, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

Tagging pages for speedy deletion, CSD G5s

Hello, Asukite,

When tagging pages for speedy deletion as the work of a blocked editor, when you use Twinkle to tag the page, please put the name of the block-evading editor in the G5 field, which is typically the sockpuppet master. CSD G5 is, technically, not a deletion because of an editor having multiple accounts but a deletion because an editor is evading their block by using sockpuppets. So, it's the block evading editor who needs to be referred to (in this case, The King349), not the username of the sockpuppet. Tagging pages as CSD G5s can be a challenge because checkusers and admins who patrol SPI cases sometimes do not identify the sockpuppet master and in those cases, we can't tag page creations for speedy deletion based on G5 criteria because they haven't identified which account is evading a block.

It looks like the tag may have been placed there because there are several statements in the article tagged with [citation needed] tags. Appropriate citations should be added to those statements before the tag is removed, these citations can be re-used references already in the article if they cover the tagged material, or new references if not. Alternatively, the offending statements can be removed if no references can be found (if you ever do this, make sure to explain the removal in the edit summary such as "removing uncited statements" or something to that effect, to avoid being reverted). Hello Asukite, Diobu, Port Harcourt is a Neighbourhood in Port Harcourt and Diobu is an empty page. I have tried moving Diobu, Port Harcourt to Diobu but it didn’t work, so I had to just redirect it, so I was wondering, since you're an extended page mover, if you could move it. From what I can tell, Diobu is just a neighborhood, as you said, but then there is a hatnote at the top of the page Port Harcourt ("Diobu" redirects here. For the neighbourhood, see Diobu, Port Harcourt.) which seems to imply there is another meaning for "Diobu", also indicated here in the same article: The colonial government caused the people of Diobu to cede their land, and in 1912 the building of a port-town was started, implying that Diobu was either an ethnic group or settlement which predates Port Harcourt. Given this, I am not sure if the neighborhood should occupy that title or if perhaps we should start an article about the original Diobu.. Sorry if I'm not much help in this respect, I don't fully know the history of the area.

I might recommend putting in a request at WP:RM/TR to see if somebody more knowledgeable about the situation can move it. Failing that, it can be put up for a move request and we can notify the talk pages of a couple relevant projects to garner some support from others who may know more.
