Please post new messages at the bottom of the page. I will try to answer as quickly as possible, unfortunately, I am not that active on Wikipedia. Any vandalism is not tolerated and please don't try to insult me. I am still learning and will be appreciative of any feedback. Please be respectful and follow all guidelines.

- Hello Sirdog, this information was taken from the Richard Ruscyk page. Would that be counted as copyright too? Aspection (talk) 04:41, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- Indeed it would. The bottom of the page for [1] has the text "
© 2020 Celebrity Wiki
" which is typically a sign that the content's creator is marking it as All Rights Reserved. This applies to any content online, with or without this text, unless there is an explicit declaration somewhere that states content is released under a more free license. - Wikipedia is a good example, as the bottom of every page has the text "
Text is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License 4.0; additional terms may apply.
". - More information relating to copyright and how material can or cannot be used is available at Wikipedia:Copyrights. —Sirdog (talk) 05:17, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, thank you for letting me know. I will fix this issue and make my own description instead. Does that mean that I can copy it if I add a copyright to the bottom? Aspection (talk) 20:05, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- Also, can you mentor me on Wikipedia? I am a new user, and I'm still learning the ropes of this. Thanks! Aspection (talk) 20:08, 13 November 2023 (UTC)

" Negative, ghost rider. If you want to directly take material from another source, it must be under a free license. - A list of licenses which are compatible with Wikipedia are listed at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright#Can I add something to Wikipedia that I got from somewhere else?. I would highly suggest reading Wikipedia:Copyrights from top to bottom if you are heavily interested in taking material verbatim from another location. If parts of that page confuse you, feel free to ask me a specific question about it or ask at the Wikipedia:Teahouse.
- In terms of mentorship, what I can do is list myself as your mentor in the interface. Then you'll have an easy way to ask me questions at anytime. If you want a more involved mentorship, then I'm afraid I cannot give that to you. You may be able to find experienced editors with such time at Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user. Cheers! —Sirdog (talk) 21:04, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- Sure, can you do that? I'm fine with asking questions for help on my article. Thank you for doing this! Aspection (talk) 00:45, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
- Alrighty, it's done. Feel free to stop by my talk page anytime. —Sirdog (talk) 01:40, 14 November 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Anyways, welcome to Wikipedia. Can you just please remove the instances of (wikitext rendered as {{icon|DYK}}) from your userpage as you do not have any successful Did You Know? nominations yet? Thanks. #prodraxis connect 14:57, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, my bad. I just thought that your user page was really cool, and I will make sure to fix it. Aspection (talk) 20:04, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- No worries - you can use any piece of wikimarkup on my userpage (or signature, for that matter) anytime. That being said, is it OK if I tidy up some wikimarkup on your userpage as some unwanted brackets are showing up? #prodraxis connect 20:45, 13 November 2023 (UTC)

Deletion of Draft:Orange County Public Library
[edit]Hi, I saw you tried to delete Draft:Orange County Public Library but the WP:CSD template was wrapped in a <nowiki> tag so it was not treated as one. I've tagged it with Wikipedia:Criteria_for_speedy_deletion#G7, author requests deletion, since you're the only significant contributor, for future reference. [edit] Hello, I'm WikiPate. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Beond, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You merged the draft with the existing article of Beond without citing reliable references for the added content.
