2016 Indian banknote demonetisation

Hi Ashisiniter

You appear to be in a dispute with an established editor about the article 2016 Indian banknote demonetisation. This can be a frustrating experience for a new user because you will find there are a number of norms on Wikipedia that you are not aware of. I recommend that you try the following:

• Don't edit war.
• Don't accuse other users of attacking you. It is OK for them to point out where they believe you have gone wrong.
• Think carefully about what other users are saying to you.
• Try to explain on the article's talk page what you would like to see. Refer to reliable sources that support you points.
• If you are objecting to a particular piece of content, recognise that there may be a source for it that hasn't been cited yet, or is cited elsewhere in the article. This is particularly true of the lead section, which is supposed to summarise the rest of the article and need not have its own sources.
• Try to come to a consensus on what the content should be. This will involve each side understanding the other, so clear communication is key.
• If there is something that you think is missing from the lead, perhaps first consider if it is in the main body of the article. If not, where would you put it? What would you say? It can be easier to get consensus on the body first and then summarise in the lead.

49.35.0.112 (talk) 07:59, 8 February 2017 (UTC) @Yaris678 Let me clarify that I am not a new user, author or writer to wikipedia. I have made number of contributions. The article which has been written on India's Demonetization lacks facts, reference, credible sources etc for example, there is no official source for causalities, IPP slow down etc. The language of the article is sub standard and the writer seems to keep everybody's will to make a consensus. Some of the paragraphs seem biased for Government and some are against Government. The neutrality of this article is clearly disputed and the detailing is too much. Though I wanted this to report to the Admin, but then I thought to contribute. I agree that I should talk before editing. Also, add another advice, When someone writes such an article, it needs proper research and should not be written on OPINION. The article will be merged into eventually into a researched article when someone will write. But, till then, you continue editing this page. Thanks for your point by point advice.
