March 2024

[edit]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Tom Brewitt article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 10:01, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @GiantSnowman, thanks for pointing out the lack of references in my changes to the Tom Brewitt article. I've done some reading regarding which sources Wikipedia considers reliable for football statistics, and I sourced the stats in my revision from FBRef which I believe is well-regarded - would you be able to confirm that you agree this is an acceptable source? If so, I will reinstate my revision and add in the required reference(s) AshethCat (talk) 13:02, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Soccerway/Soccerbase are preferred. GiantSnowman 13:04, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have improved referencing/formatting and corrected some errors. GiantSnowman 13:36, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thank you! For the large horizontal lines (rather than 0, 0) in the Career Statistics, I was trying to follow the style of James Milner, which is listed as a 'good article' - are those not actually meant to be used? AshethCat (talk) 18:01, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ryan Sandford moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Ryan Sandford. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. JTtheOG (talk) 20:42, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
