Hello Artistbase! This is just to let you know that I left you a message over at Talk:Sertan Saltan. Also, while I'm here, is Artistbase the name of a commercial organization? Because that would be against our username policy, and would mean that you would have to choose a new username. (The alternative, unfortunately, is for this user account to blocked, although there would be no prejudice against you simply choosing another account should that happen.) As you have only made three edits so far, it might be best for you to just create a new account and abandon this one if your username is indeed that of an organization or company. Best regards — Mr. Stradivarius♫12:11, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It actually is not a company name that I'm aware of. I guarantee you, I have no connection to any company either. I am just an art collector and critic. thanks for the suggestion. If it is necessary I would change the name, but since it reflects why I am here, I'd rather to keep it. Artistbase (talk) 15:58, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again, and thanks for the updates to the article! This time I'm messaging you about something else - the self-portrait image in the article. I see you uploaded it to Wikimedia Commons claiming that it was your own work, but that wouldn't be true unless you yourself are Sertan Saltan. I'm afraid that Wikipedia takes copyright seriously, and unless you actually are Sertan Saltan and are willing to donate your work to Wikipedia, the image will have to be deleted. Could you let me know why you chose to label it as your own work? Thanks again — Mr. Stradivarius♫12:30, 15 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
