Hello Arcarius. I have noticed that you've deleted the infobox template from the Miskito article. Please leave infoboxes intact, they were put there for a prupose. Thanks & welcome. //Big Adamsky 10:59, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it that about a third of your edits are reverting to Fastifex? AnonMoos 03:39, 16 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Arcarius -- do you think that this redirect needs a category link? Or was think just a momentary slip? -- llywrch 19:39, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The assertion that Jerusalem is the "third holiest-site in Islam" is one of those little catchphrases which commonly gets repeated in many journalistic introductions to various aspects of the middle east situation, but unfortunately this simplistic phrase papers over a somewhat complex and diverse historical reality. Including the simplistic catchphrase in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques article will inevitably introduce inaccuracy, unless there's an accompanying detailed explanation of disproportionate length. And there's simply no need to raise this problematic issue at all within that article (which is not about Jerusalem). AnonMoos 14:02, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not continually restore the links to the article (here, here and here). There are clear guidelines regarding external links. It is becomes increasingly difficult to assume good faith in the face of unsupported reversion. Please make appropriate edits summaries, or discuss it in the articles talk page - Tiswas(t) 09:40, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

French Flanders

[edit]

The term is county. The term used by the articles County of Flanders and County of Artois is county. The term in the article should be county. Stop changing it.

As for the map, is it really helpful? Unless you already have a fair knowledge of the Nord department, it appears as little more than a grey blob with a yellow blob hi-lighted. Really, there's no point when two maps on the page already show the position of French Flanders on a larger scale.CharlesMartel 14:54, 28 June 2007 (UTC)CharlesMartel[reply]

[edit]

Hi,

If you are going to put in a wikilink, you should check the link to ensure it is directly to an article - your addition of peduncy to underwear led to a double-redirect, which is not useful for readers. Also, for readability you are better off to use a common term rather than a latin one, even if there is a wikilink. I've corrected the term to 'modesty' with a direct link to a sub-section on the modesty page. WLU 15:19, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Primate and Gniezno

[edit]

Is there any reason why You again add irrevelant German name to Gniezno? Gniezno was under Grman control in 1793-1806, in years 1815-1849 was in authonomic Grand Duchy of Poznań with Polish ang German as official languages. In 1918 it retunrs to reborn Poland. Gniezno was seat of first polish archbishop since 1000. During German rule over 90% catholics were Poles (compare Kulturkampf). In modern history there was only one German archbiushop on this seat, only for 4 years (1886-1890). For rest of this time archbishops of Gniezno (and since 1821 of Poznań and Gniezno, due to personal union dissolved in 1946) used, against Prussian and later German autority title of Primates of Poland. Radomil talk 20:38, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • The entire Catholic church east of Germany was the product of intense missionary activity from there, in the case of the Ordensstaat (later Baltic republics roughly) long under specific state form, elsewhere as in Poland Slavic rule continued. Besides, in most anguages nbody has a clue what the Polish or other Slavic names stand for, they generally base their version on the German (and/or the Latin).

Not at all. Polish Duke, Mieszko I, to avoid this situation (dependency odf Polish church from German chirarchy), in 966 married Bohemian princess Doubravka and started christianization of Poland "taking baptizm" from Czechs. Due this movement, first missionary bishop of Poland, Jordan was dependent only to pope. Also other countries in region tried to avoid Germ,an "missionars" that mean conquer like in case of Polabian Slavs. In later period main "missionary" German institution was Teutonic Order. Lithania trying to avoid Teutonic attacks made alliance with Poland. Lithuanian Grand Duke, Jagiełło, convert to christianity and married Polish queen Jadwiga Anjou. So in Baltic region Poland baptized in 966 with help of Bohemian church, and Lithuania in 1386 taking baptizm from Poland. Radomil talk 08:52, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have perfomed a web search with the contents of Josef Fessler, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/06051a.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 11:51, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there.
I'm affraid there is little that can be done. No bot could possibly detect that two writers copied from the same (legitimate) source as opposed to one off the other. CSBot catches around 100 true copyright violations per day, any one of which could put the foundation in legal trouble— some rate of false positives is inevitable.
I understand it can be a bit annoying to have to remove the tag from your articles, but that is why the articles are tagged for human review.
If you can use a standard attribution template on articles whose contents you take from that public domain source, I can teach CSBot to avoid articles containing it (as was done, for instance, for the {{DANFS}} attribution). — Coren (talk) 16:27, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed. CSBot now know about {{Catholic}} and will leave articles containing it alone. — Coren (talk) 23:05, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I've reverted your reversion in Head of State, because the Iranian Constitution states that the Supreme Leader is the maximum political authority (i.e., Head of State). Do you have any references otherwise? --Damifb 18:03, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • That is NOT contradictory, nor relevant: in most democracies the Head of Goverment is the highst political authority, e.g. the Prime Minister in the Westminster model (not the constitutional Monarch or ceremnial President who is HoS), the HoS is only the poltical chief if he is elected (as in the US presidential system) and/or himself Head of Government (an 'executive president'), while in Iran neither applies to the Supreme Leader, who is a third person, with another, atypical, more ideological type of mandate. Boy (disambiguation)

[edit]

Let's talk about this before things get out of hand. The format for disambiguation pages is detailed at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages). The first sentence on the page is discussed under Linking to a primary topic. Boy (disambiguation) is a dab page with a parenthetical (disambiguation) clarifier, so virtually no one will be coming there to find information on Boy. The introductory sentence should be kept as simple as possible, like the example for School in the section cited above; it's not necessary to cover any shades of meaning. The second sentence "Boy may also refer to:" is covered by the section Introductory line: "It is not necessary to repeat all the possible variations of capitalization or punctuation: "AU may refer to" is preferable over "AU, au, Au or A-U may refer to". Is there any reason you wish to depart from this format for this particular dab page? --ShelfSkewed Talk 05:29, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Obviously there is. The restrictive definition to young human male is simply wrong, not a matter of 'shades', and the use of the plural and its weird alternate don't qualify as mere spelling variations Arcarius 05:55, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What is "wrong" about "young male human"? That is the primary meaning of the term; most other uses are derived meanings, colloquialisms or slang. And the plurals are just spelling variations--What else would you call them?--and similar variations are treated on other dab pages without listing them all the top.--ShelfSkewed Talk 06:11, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Re: Listing the variants at the top. I changed my mind--you were right, I was wrong. Took me long enough, eh? I hereby proffer my wrist for slapping. --ShelfSkewed Talk 14:38, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect of Transpadine

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Transpadine, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Transpadine is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Transpadine, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Today you added again (for the eight time: [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]) the image of the branded fraternity guys to the article Boy, and it also was removed yet again (not by me this time). Given the comments at Talk:Boy#Fraternity image and the continued removal of the image from the article, there clearly is no consensus to include that particular image in this article, so I kindly ask you to stop adding it there. --Reinoutr (talk) 14:49, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

2BE

[edit]

You added "2BE' (pronounced like "two be") is a Belgian television channel owned by the commercial broadcasting company Vlaamse Media Maatschappij (English: Flemish Media Corporation), which also owns radio channels and its parent channel vtm- it's not uncommon for programs to be passed on from one sister channel to the other, especially for reruns." to 2BE (TV channel). I can understand that you added the part about the radio/television channels, but it's not uncommon for programs to be passed on from one sister channel to the other, especially for reruns is simply irrelevant. Please stop re-adding that to the article. And what's up with which the original abbreviation stood for, yet in Dutch also the pronunciation of K2;? Kan je dat eens uitleggen in het Nederlands? Ik denk dat we dit beter kunnen verwoorden. --Pdedecker (talk) 19:50, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(Reply in Dutch, as requested)

Hun naam is toch nooit K2 geweest? --Pdedecker (talk) 12:05, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Arcarius (talk) 06:56, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
--Pdedecker (talk) 12:05, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Divitis

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Divitis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article consists of a dictionary definition or other article that has been transwikied to another project and the author information recorded.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Leo Laursen –   14:58, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Frat Bros. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. NYSMtalk page 03:26, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Miss Gertrude McFuzz has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced, appears to have never been referenced. Non-notable minor character.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Itaria

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Itaria requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates two or fewer extant Wikipedia pages and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
  • disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Hello, Arcarius. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Gigasaran, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Meatsgains (talk) 16:37, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Raj sources

[edit]

Hi, please can you avoid using sources from the British Raj era, eg: at the Koli people article. They're not considered to be reliable, certainly not for statements of history, caste or ethnicity etc. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 21:01, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I've just noticed that you have done a vast number of edits of this type. That is going to be a problem, I think. Eg: Census of India prior to independence, James Tod, H. H. Risley, The People of India and User:Sitush/CasteSources are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to problems related to Raj sources. It has long been accepted that they should be avoided. There are modern works that record princely states etc - use them instead. - Sitush (talk) 21:10, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Orašje

[edit]

Hello, Arcarius. You recently added content to Orašje. Orašje is a disambiguation page, not an article. Disambiguation pages (DAB in Wikipedia jargon) contain minimal content to direct readers quickly to the article they want when multiple pages have the same name. I have therefore moved the content you added to Dubravica, Požarevac, which I gather is the most appropriate article. Happy editing, Cnilep (talk) 07:28, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages

[edit]

Thank you for your recent articles, including Arathia, which I read with interest. When you create a new article, can you add the WikiProject assessment templates to the talk of that article? See the talk page of the article I mentioned for an example of what I mean. Usually it is very simple, you just add something like {{WikiProject Keyword}} to the article's talk, with keyword replaced by the associated WikiProject (ex. if it's a biography article, you would use WikiProject Biography; if it's a United States article, you would use WikiProject United States, and so on). You do not have to rate the article if you do not want to, others will do it eventually. Those templates are very useful, as they bring the articles to a WikiProject attention, and allow them to start tracking the articles through Wikipedia:Article alerts and other tools. For example, WikiProject Poland relies on such templates to generate listings such as Article Alerts, Popular Pages, Quality and Importance Matrix and the Cleanup Listing. Thanks to them, WikiProject members are more easily able to defend your work from deletion, or simply help try to improve it further. Feel free to ask me any questions if you'd like more information about using those talk page templates. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:20, 7 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Some of your recent edits on Kosovo are incorrect

[edit]

Recently you made several edits in article List of Catholic dioceses in Serbia. Some of your edits are good and useful, but some of them are factually incorrect and potentially misleading. For example, you are mentioning political status of Kosovo "which the Vatican recognizes, unlike Serbia". That statement of yours is not true, since Vatican did not officially recognize independence of Kosovo, and that is common knowledge. Also, instead of using the proper name for Byzantine Catholic Apostolic Exarchate of Serbia, you are using various unofficial formulations that include the term "Croatian". Members of that Apostolic Exarchate in Serbia are Rusyns by ethnicity, and so is their bishop Đura Džudžar. Please, reconsider and correct your edits, starting from the unilateral move you made when you changed the title of the article, without any previous discussion. Dioceses of South Italy

[edit]

I notice that you are revising articles on various dioceses of south Italy.

I have an number of complaints:

  • (1) Your revisions are major, but are being done without warning or seeking of consensus.
  • (2) You are using a date style which is inconsistent with the style already in use on the pages.
  • (3) You seem not to like two-column lists, and you are removing formatting arbitrarily. Two-column lists save space both on-screen and when printed out.
  • (4) You are removing formatting which splits up long lists into manageable sections. That is an acceptable practice on WP, and should not be tampered with without consensus.
  • (4) You introduce bulleted lists into sections that are already written in paragraph format. Then you add "TO ELABORATE". You should not place material in the article until it is ready.
  • (5) Your additions are filled with ecclesiastical jargon, which is not appropriate to an encyclopedia article, and which needs context to be meaningful.
  • (6) You are adding links (which is fine), but you are not checking whether they are complete or whether they work correctly. You make links repeatedly that require disambiguation.

Your material will, of course, be revised by others over time. Please do not make more work for others by your arbitrary behavior.

-- Vicedomino (talk) 19:47, 24 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Let me add that your new material is unsourced. Such extensive additions need references.

Sees in Greece and the East

[edit]

Hello! When adding information on sees in traditionally non-Catholic lands, please take care to avoid making a couple of (inadvertent) mistakes:

  • do not imply that the titular sees established by the Catholic Church in early modern times had any actual connection to the residential sees. This is done, for instance, by adding the lemmata to categories like "Former Catholic dioceses" or "Suppressed Catholic dioceses", or by omitting "Catholic" from the sections on the titular sees.
  • do not imply that (titular or residential) Catholic sees are the only sees in the area, for instance by directing links like Bishop of Chios to Roman Catholic Diocese of Chios, which was established in the 14th century, when there exists a Greek Orthodox see that has a continuous history to the first Christians on the island.
  • remember that, when using Latin/Catholic/Italian sources to write about the pre-Schism or Orthodox dioceses, the Latin names used in your sources are irrelevant and even misleading. Please try to find and use the historically correct names, there are plenty of sources in the internet for that.

Other than that, keep up the good work! Cheers, Constantine 08:21, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. The article Stiefan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

'Stiefan' not mentioned on either link

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Stiefan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —KuyaBriBriTalk 23:34, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Equizetum

[edit]

Hi, I'm Boleyn. Arcarius, thanks for creating Equizetum!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please stop creating articles which do not have WP:INLINECITED references. These articles will then not be useful to readers looking to use the article for research, as they won't know where each fact is from. It also means the article, as well as confusing people, can never reach Good Article or Featured Articles status. It is very hard for anyone but the creator to solve the lack of inline citations. This issue has been raised by several editors but you have ignored it. Because of poor referencing, your creations also have to come through New Page Patrol as you have not been given autopatrol rights, adding to the backlog there. Please stop.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Thanks for creating Helenopolis, Arcarius!

Repeated refusal to reference properly or respond to messages about this

[edit]

Your repeated refusal to do this is causing a lot of work for other editors. You have ignored messages about this; I have moved your latest creation to Draft:Helenopolis, Palestine, please move it back to the mainspace when it meets WP guidelines. Again, please see WP:INLINECITE. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 13:04, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, please read WP:UNDUE and WP:NPOV. Your persistent labelling of everything, quite prominently, as a "Catholic diocese" is problematic, for reasons already explained in earlier messages, and mars an otherwise useful series of contributions on your part. Constantine 14:26, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
And for what seems the n-th time, please consider WP:PRIMARYTOPIC when creating dab pages out of redirects, as you did here. The fact that two or more cities share a name does not mean that they are equally important. Your edits have shown time and again that you have little idea about the historical contexts of the places you write about, but just copy over stuff from your sources in a virtually machine-like manner. Please STOP. If you do not know better, do not make edits. I am getting tired of having to clean up after you. Please read both Wikipedia:Competence is required. And when people come to your talk page to offer constructive criticism, I strongly suggest that a) you take the time to consider it and adapt your editing accordingly and b) reply to them and perhaps ask for their help. Keeping silent and going on as before is textbook Wikipedia:Disruptive editing. Constantine 11:51, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Says- "The "See also" section should not link to pages that do not exist (red links),". You recently created over 40 seealso links to List of Catholic dioceses in Turkey. All those links have been removed....William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 14:08, 1 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Arcarius. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Communication

[edit]

Hello, Arcarius, I hope you are well. I'm just trying to clean up some articles I've reviewed this year, many created by you. Can you please look at the dozens of messages you've been sent above about referencing issues and see if you can address these issues, particularly with the completely unreferenced articles like Youks-les-Bains? So far, you have failed to respond to these many messages - please be aware that WP:Communication is required and not just polite. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 08:53, 28 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Roman Catholic Territorial Prelature of Cristalândia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Amazonian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:10, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo, there is no mention of "Sinita" on the target page Tharros, so no justification for its presence on the disambiguation page Sinita - to which you are creating lots of links at present. Please add some sourced information to the Tharros page to justify the links - and it might then be better to link directly to that page with a "Redirect" hatnote for those who mis-spell the singer. Thanks. PamD 08:32, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I found a source, added a section re the different names of the diocese, will fix links. PamD 08:55, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Arcarius, you have created the above redirect, but this term is not mentioned on the linked page. Do you have any sources which show this alternative phrase being used? Again, please respond to messages. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 09:42, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Date formats

[edit]

Please do not format dates as "1755.02.21" etc as you did in your edit to Tharros. It's not one of Wikipedia's acceptable date formats and looks ugly and confusing. See MOS:DATEFORMAT. Please correct all the dates you added to that article. Thanks. PamD 15:41, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You have created another redirect to an article where the term is not mentioned. Please stop this. Boleyn (talk) 19:47, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked indefinitely

[edit]

Hi Arcarius. You have had sufficient time to respond to the AN/I thread about your refusal to communicate, and it has finally been archived. It appears you're taking the approach of going ghost until the complaint goes away, but given your long-term history it would be foolish to assume that you will not continue editing without rectifying the problem. Just to be clear, this is not a block that is lightly given. However, communication is required. If you're able/willing to communicate, you can continue editing here, but eventually we have to draw a line and demand that changes be made. Swarm 23:45, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
