Hi. When you recently edited 2003–04 AS Monaco FC season, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Lorraine and Nancy (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). 2000–01 Birmingham City F.C. season

Hello, and thanks for adding stuff to the above. Couple of things you may be unaware of: Darren Horrigan has played in the Football League, so should be linked; and you could save yourself some work by not piping links like Birmingham City Football Club to [[Birmingham City F.C.|Birmingham City Football Club]]: WP:NOTBROKEN suggests we shouldn't.

I must apologise for all the unnecessary work you had to do in sourcing the attendances for the FA and League Cup games. I've no idea why I never put them in when cleaning the page up in the first place, they're all sourceable from the book page at general ref #2, or from sportinglife.com here.

Thanks also for adding the kickoff times for the league games, those were left out deliberately, because I hadn't found an easily usable source. altomfotball.no looks useful (assuming Norway time is consistently an hour forward of UK time, anyway). I'll add the references to the article later today, hopefully. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 14:49, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

What I'd been trying to do with the season articles is working forwards from 1892 with full prose, which is obviously a very slow process, and working backwards from now with just tables and very little prose, which is still a slow process. And hope to live long enough for them to meet in the middle... I tend not to create a page until it's got enough content/sources to be of use to the reader, not sure how good an idea it is to create an unsourced and almost content-free page in the hope that someone will fill in the blanks. As it happens, my 1991/92 is approaching ready, with match details in the simple wikitable layout as used from about 1995–96 Birmingham City F.C. season back, because there just isn't enough info available to justify using the space-wasteful footballbox templates. One thing I'd considered doing differently is adding a column to the match details wikitable for the league position after each matchday. The {{Fb rbr header}} templates in a separate Results by round section is fine when the match details use footballbox, but it's not really necessary if an entry in a table column lets the reader see at a glance where that day's match left the club. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 21:22, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
Please understand that sources must a) be included in the article; and b) be reliable. Youtube videos are very rarely reliable sources (we aren't allowed to link to possibly copyvio material), and pictures of match programmes verify only the KO time that was scheduled at the time the programme was printed. That would usually be accurate, but not necessarily. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:16, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

I've put the rest of my 1991/92 season stuff at User:Struway2/Sandbox2. Please help yourself. It's formatted as a wikitable rather than how you're doing that season, because that's how I've been doing the others, but all the attendances and Birmingham scorers are there. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 16:44, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

James McFadden

Hello. Maybe it's me, but I can't see a source for him starting at Motherwell in 1995, either in the article or in your edit summary? cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:17, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

All it says in the article is that he made his first team debut aged 17, Soccerbase confirms December 2000, and that he started in the youth system "at a young age". Don't think there's enough info in there to extrapolate a start year. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:31, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

Big Four Criticism

Is this section in the F.A. Premier League page really justified anymore?Considering Manchester City have just won their first title and Liverpool have finished outside the top 4 again I feel it may be worth starting a debate about this.DColt (talk) 18:33, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

I just can't see Liverpool being a threat anymore.7th last season,now 8th this season.This is hardly the form of a "Big Four" team.DColt (talk) 20:35, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

Aspmyra Stadion

Hi there. In the article about Aspmyra Stadion, you've changed "teams" to "clubs" throughout the prose. I believe that it's a difference between this in English, and I have made a request on the talk page that someone would look into this matter. I thought I'd let you know that I've mentioned you, and maybe you could be the one that fix this? Cheers, Mentoz86 (talk) 08:53, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

I'm not saying that "team" is the right word for every case, I'm saying that there should be a mix, so reverting your edit will not help the article much. But now the article says "the clubs' elite clubs" which is just totally wrong. In that case there should be "the clubs elite teams", but in other cases "clubs" might be right. Mentoz86 (talk) 08:28, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

Your edits

Hey, at times your edits seem very odd. Suboff and subon when nothing was done, adding some other stuff that does not belong. Just curious. Kante4 (talk) 16:33, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

But he was quickly back and it was some time ago. Doing the same. Kante4 (talk) 16:40, 11 June 2012 (UTC)
Don't know. Kante4 (talk) 16:46, 11 June 2012 (UTC)
Your lineup was pretty wrong. If you can't add it right, then don't do it. Don't mean it in a bad/mean way, just to make sure correct information is added. Kante4 (talk) 14:53, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
But i don't know why you added the wrong one first and then were going to correct it. Make it correct first and then submit it. Is a lot easier. Kante4 (talk) 14:57, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
Then maybe it's better to let someone else does it.(?) Kante4 (talk) 15:14, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
It's not about me. When i see the lineups i go and add them. If you are faster ok, but if there are mistakes, that's what i/we don't want. So, think about it. ;) Kante4 (talk) 15:34, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
I won't be here everyday. Seems like i am off Thursday. ;) But you can updating when you want, don't have to stop because of something i said. ;) I go with Germany as it's my home country. I just can't see them not winning it. Started slow but will get better. Russia is a favourite of mine to reach the semis with France too. Spain of course will be great again! Kante4 (talk) 15:46, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
On TV, they show all matches for free. Isn't Sweden showing games on TV or just Pay-TV? A stream is always behind a few seconds that "real time", just a hint. ;) I used to run a website for streams a few years ago. Kante4 (talk) 15:58, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

No, i watch them on TV, next to my PC. ;) Czech just rolled over Greece at the start, oh dear. Kante4 (talk) 16:08, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Nope, it's school and work. 5 weeks work and then school, this 3 times this year. Few more weeks and it's holidays (6 weeks). Kante4 (talk) 17:36, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
Sure, Football, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Handball, Field Hockey, Boxing. Sports in general is interesting. Kante4 (talk) 17:45, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, wasn't clear. Did not attended such a tournament so far. Kante4 (talk) 17:59, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Euro

Hey, thanks. Looked like they ran out of gas or were just relaxing a bit too much, happens. Win is a win, sweet if it's against the Netherlands. ;) Kante4 (talk) 20:50, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, and Özil too. Really helped the game. Podolski has to go and make space for Schürrle, Reus or Götze. But i take the 3 points. Kante4 (talk) 20:57, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
Yes, great team and they get better with every game they play. Secure the win of the group and maybe avoid Russia. Kante4 (talk) 21:05, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
I'm not worried about anyone. Germany is the strongest team in the tournament. Kante4 (talk) 21:23, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
Yep, if they play at their level but of course surprises can happen. I'm still believing in the team to win it all. So, i'm off, cya. Kante4 (talk) 21:31, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
I'm here tonight too, just saying! Added the correct lineups... Kante4 (talk) 14:57, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
Nope, was a little busy. Will make some sport before the matches now. The names were right because no changes were made by both teams. ;) Just the positions were wrong. Kante4 (talk) 15:04, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
No, different formations. Italy played more defenseive and Croatia more offensive. Check the lineup references. ;) Kante4 (talk) 15:10, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

Of course not, but still it was Ireland. Kante4 (talk) 20:49, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

Damn, i was pulling for Sweden, in both matches. Such a shame but Ibrahimovic, as good as he is and as much as i like him, played like ass. Kante4 (talk) 22:24, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
Just catched the last 10 minutes of GRE-RUS yesterday, watched with some friends CZE-POL before going out. But it was shocking tbh. NED will play offensive today with van der Vaart, Robben, Sneijder, Van Persie and Huntelaar so they are going all out. Could happen but i see CR7 scoring twice tonight. Kante4 (talk) 17:50, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
I told you so. ;) He played fantastic, i switched between the GER and POR game every now and then. Kante4 (talk) 20:55, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
Never said anything different. ;) He had chances that he makes normally so it was odd to see him miss those... Kante4 (talk) 21:19, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
They will be tough, no doubt. Still not worried if Germany plays to their level. Kante4 (talk) 21:27, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
Watched the game(s) with some friends and having a good evening. ;) Kante4 (talk) 21:38, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
They were for Poland with me the only one for CZE, other game we didn't watch until last 10 minutes. I was for Russia aswell. Kante4 (talk) 21:45, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
Croatia will be a good test but they changed their lineup to just 1 striker. Ireland will lose, no way Trappatoni wants to win the game against "his" Italy. I hope for Croatia. Kante4 (talk) 18:12, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

I don't like either Italy or Spain, but when i have to choose i take Italy over Spain to advance. Kante4 (talk) 18:24, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

They had some great chances, too bad. But was clear that Spain scores when you are that offensive! Kante4 (talk) 08:19, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
Did not saw the match. Or just a bit, great goal and a win, good ending. Kante4 (talk) 20:55, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
1. Yes, that's why i said great goal. 2. It wasn't ruled for offside. Knockout stage starts slow but the last 2 games should be real good! Kante4 (talk) 21:07, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

Do you edits in one, sucks to have conflicts when you add part by part! Kante4 (talk) 20:14, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

No, it's just frustrating, trying to do it twice and seeing the conflicts and then see the first time was not a "real" edit. It's just easier for everyone. Kante4 (talk) 21:40, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
Again. Edited it first and left one [[]] blank. Why? Don't understand that. Kante4 (talk) 17:46, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, sure but why submit it then if you don't know the player. Then wait until you found it or it's published. I had the correct lineup and just waited for confirmation from the UEFA and got conflicted because you wanted to be first and then saw you left something blank... Just not useful! Kante4 (talk) 17:51, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, but complete work not just trying to do some work bit by bit. Kante4 (talk) 18:11, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
Good call, but: Can't you stay away when someone is updating the penalties already. I got it all under control and got conflicts because of you and you changed nothing because you did the same than me, just later... Kante4 (talk) 21:26, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
But you added nothing, you saw me being quicker or ahead because of TV, so... Kante4 (talk) 21:33, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
It seemed so, eh? That's why i got frustrated seeing you updating "nothing" and causing me conflicts. Even with those i was quicker so i would have stayed away then if i was you. Kante4 (talk) 21:37, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
How would that be possible? Think... Kante4 (talk) 21:43, 24 June 2012 (UTC)

Yep, and i said that a stream is 10-15 seconds behind so updating a penalty shootout while watching a stream is not a good idea, just for the next time. Kante4 (talk) 21:49, 24 June 2012 (UTC)

Do those know it better? Guess no, just wait next time. GER/ITA should be right. Kante4 (talk) 18:54, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
Again, adding: | – || ||[[]] || || upward-facing green arrow why exactly? Can't you wait until you know the players? Kante4 (talk) 20:30, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
Exciting it is. If there is a shootout, please let me handle it as you edit conflict me then like the last time. Explained before... Kante4 (talk) 21:10, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
Spain is very lucky this tournament. Should have gotten a penalty against them against Croatia ==>Exit. Tonight Portugal was better in the regular time but did not score. Shame... Kante4 (talk) 21:53, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
Tournament was pretty good, attendance numbers were great i thought and Spain showed in the final why they won. Kante4 (talk) 14:22, 4 July 2012 (UTC)

63,170

Did you see my friend? The attendance of Euro 2012 final was really 63,170. ;-) Dimitrissss (talk) 20:59, 1 July 2012 (UTC)

Edits on UEFA Euro 2004

Hi Arbero. I just saw your recent edits to UEFA Euro 2004 and I wanted to ask you two things. The first is if you have a source for the base camps selected by each finalist team; the reference you provided only gives the list of 25 training venues, not which was chosen by whom. The second question is if you had any special reason to compress the width of the goalscorers column list? Cheers for your work on this article, nonetheless. Parutakupiu (talk) 22:55, 8 July 2012 (UTC)

I believe the list provided here is the correct one because I clearly remember Greece staying in Vila do Conde. Parutakupiu (talk) 00:29, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
From what I've found in a contemporary Portuguese sports news article, those 25 training centres were the ones officially shortlisted by UEFA, but only six of them were selected by finalist teams. The others opted for other base camps that were not present on that list. Parutakupiu (talk) 01:26, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

Substitutes

Hi, any particular reason why you removed the substitutes that did not play in these aticles? NapHit (talk) 21:52, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

Yes it only applies to international competitions because all the players that are not in the starting line-up are available as substitutes, whereas that is not the case with club competitions. NapHit (talk) 22:06, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
No worries, thought you might have got a little confused, happens to the best of us every now and again. Keep up the good work. NapHit (talk) 22:19, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

Southampton Season Article

Hi Arbero. Thanks very much for contributing to the 2012–13 Southampton F.C. season article earlier. I would just like to know, in reference to the dashes between scores in match results, how (as you describe in your words) "the rules have changed". Could you point me to a Wikipedia discussion or policy in which this change is proven to be the 'new way' of doing things? If not, then it should be changed back. Thanks very much. Andre666 (talk) 10:30, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply. I was just unaware of the change, but thanks for pointing it out. Personally I prefer the space, but I'm not going to go against WP policy! Happy editing :) Andre666 (talk) 10:52, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

Re: Eddie Johnson

First of all, Johnson was born in September 1984, so if he joined United when he was 15, that would mean he joined between September 1999 and August 2000. And if he himself said that he joined United at 15, that is the date that I would go for. Furthermore, according to this site that I use regularly, he played his first match for the United under-18s on 26 February 2000 and signed a trainee contract with United in July 2001 (which is where I assume the first article got that date from). Finally, the first article says that he attended both "Christleton High School and Bishops' High School", so I would put both of those down ("Bishops' High School" refers to the Bishops' Blue Coat Church of England High School). – PeeJay 22:35, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

Well, I can't promise I won't modify what you write afterwards, but you don't need my approval to make the changes. – PeeJay 22:51, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

Hey man, I noticed you removed some content about Eric Cantona's early life because you thought it was a copyright violation. Well, I can tell you because I wrote that passage, that the book you refer to is actually a copyright violation of Wikipedia. The whole thing is made up of paraphrased Wikipedia articles, much of which I wrote. – PeeJay 18:14, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

No worries mate. Sorry if I sounded a little harsh. I just get really cross when I see people selling Wikipedia articles as their own work on Amazon. Pisses me off no end! – PeeJay 19:21, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi there from Portugal,

Comma

Hello.

Regarding your recent edit to Kim Song-Hui, location constructions like "of the tournament in a 2–0 defeat of Colombia at Hampden Park, Glasgow, on 25 July 2012" actually calls for a comma after the second element, in this case Glasgow. See Wikipedia:Basic copyediting, section "Common edits", bullet point 9: "Except at the end of a sentence...".

Please don't remove such commas.

Thank you.

Olympics

Dude, i was adding the lineups, the got conflicted because of you and then see you added like the whole roster of both teams??? If you don't know how to add them or how to get the correct lineup then stay away. Again, frustrating! Kante4 (talk) 12:33, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

Hidden is ok for me but can you show me where the personal attack is? Kante4 (talk) 12:52, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
It might not be a personal attack per se, but it was a bit uncivil. An edit conflict is most of the time unintentional, so you could probably have worded it a bit differently, even if it frustrated you. HandsomeFella (talk) 13:28, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
Those three signs i just make at some time and were not right somehow, sorry. I was finished and saw you conflicted it so i closed my tab(s) and looked later on at the lineup and was like what? That's what made it frustrating. Kante4 (talk) 13:28, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
wHAT was this? Why reduce the goals and icnrease the maches? there are 8 today and the goals are vieable easily on this page through the stats sections.Lihaas (talk) 20:50, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

Please wait until the matches are over, you edited the standings 2 minutes too early, i was still watching it live on TV and you had it ended... Kante4 (talk) 20:52, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

I had it on commentary.
Anyhoo, no probs (Arbero), ive sorted it.Lihaas (talk) 20:53, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
Was talking to both of you as Arbero did the same to the GBR-SEN matchup i saw. Kante4 (talk) 20:56, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

I really think the attendance can be sourced with a ref so we don't need 2 reports as this just does not look good. I did that to the women's matches but you changerd it, i thought it looked pretty good. Kante4 (talk) 10:52, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Sure, i also want your opinion on that and some other too. Maybe on the talk page of the main article or both subarticles? Kante4 (talk) 11:38, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, was meaning the main or the men's and/or women's article? Every template is not needed, 1 result should be for everyone. Kante4 (talk) 11:47, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
Yep, go ahead. Was ading the rowing start lists and other stuff. I will join later on. Kante4 (talk) 11:52, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
Was looking already at it, good work. I add some differences when i added the refs from earlier. ;) Kante4 (talk) 12:02, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
HandsomeFella and maybe those who commented on the merge proposal? Kante4 (talk) 12:05, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
You? Me? Who will notify the users? Kante4 (talk) 12:08, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
No problem. Kante4 (talk) 12:21, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Please do not add the score in basketball/handball/volleyball when the game is still running. After quarter/set/HT it's. Kante4 (talk) 12:03, 28 July 2012 (UTC)

4 edit conflicts now at the Angola-USA match? Why didn't you all update at once? Or result and then the right stats? Kante4 (talk) 22:53, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Then wait until it's really over or don't use the site. Don't be in such a hurry. Although i have it all under control on the teamsports... ;) Kante4 (talk) 22:58, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Just see someone with 5 there, but i use the offical fiba livescore as this is wasy more reliable i think. Kante4 (talk) 23:04, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
I would tend to the FIBA.com one but don't care really. Just added 5 instead of 6, i rechecked it and fixed it. Kante4 (talk) 23:10, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

Please don't be in such a hurry that you make erroneous edits like this one. It contained no less than three errors: 1 draw instead of 2 for Sweden, 4 points instead of 5 for Japan, and Japan and Canada in the wrong order (Japan ended ahead of Canada). HandsomeFella (talk) 15:34, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

You do not need to highlight the referees in the beach volleyball article as all of them are redlinked. Just the name without the "[[]]" and the country just in "()". Exmaple: James Currey (USA). That's fine. Look a the volleyball, handball, hockey, basketball or water polo here for the olympics. ;) Kante4 (talk) 23:53, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
DO NOT CRYSTABBALL while the game is sill ongoing. This is not your personal webspace.[2](Lihaas (talk) 20:39, 1 August 2012 (UTC)).
Thanks, but there could be last minute goals like in Brazils last match(Lihaas (talk) 20:45, 1 August 2012 (UTC)).
I was too...but we dont want to work on original reserch/personal views. Thats a recipe for disaster.(Lihaas (talk) 20:50, 1 August 2012 (UTC)).

Again, i was there updating the whole time and you come to add the stats, but do it one by one. I was at there too but got again conflicted just to see Parker added and then two more. Why not all at once? If not let me handle it since i did it the whole time. Kante4 (talk) 09:51, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

Did you wait for the end of the game? [3] Because the score was 2 pts higher for both teams in the end than wha was addedhere and on the table.Lihaas (talk) 23:08, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
No probs i corrected the score but wasnt sure about table then i went to check where the cockup came from ;)Lihaas (talk) 23:53, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
Yes and we discussed this before and you said it wouldnt occur ased on your "thought it woudlnt score". It was AGF first time, its not now. And it wont be again. Probs for ANI(Lihaas (talk) 23:32, 6 August 2012 (UTC)).
Support Lihaas here. Wait until the game is over before adding the score/editing the standings. Crazy things have happened. If there is a conflict, bad luck, easy as that. Just don't add them while the game is still running. Kante4 (talk) 09:22, 7 August 2012 (UTC)

It's 11-11 and going to OT. Wait for the end of the game before editing, several times now you added wrong results before the game was ended. Kante4 (talk) 18:54, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

Match officals

Allyson Flynn was initially named but if you view the match officials page on FIFA.com then you'll see that she is absent and was likely replaced by Japanese official Saori Takahashi. --Spartan008 (talk) 15:57, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

3RR warning

Your recent editing history at Template:2012 Summer Olympics men's football group A standings shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Lihaas (talk) 20:42, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi Arbero and thank you very much for your kindness !

Yes, I have really chosen the worst moment to invite you. In fact, last 48 hours were terrible, the worst since when the forum has born! There was a database problem which made us lost some works, so we are re-building them, and if you want, you can help in that so you will quickly learn how to use all formats for the future.

Anyway, now the server is 100% ok so you can register. We will talk more from there, I will write you as soon as I will see your registration. See you there! Thanks,

Hello Arbero, I have contacted you both by wiki E-Mail and here on your talk page as you told me to do, I kept your page open till today but I always have many pages opened so I can't check this anymore, I think you have everything you need to know to join us, so I hope you will do that soon :) Olympics have just finished but we are already focused on Sochi 2014 and Rio 2016 and I hope you will follow all events with us.

If you need to contact me again, please use the Wiki-mail, but I hope next time we will talk it will be directly on the forum :)

We were very unlucky that when you wanted to join we had that problem which is now fixed and I would really hate to lose a potential good user like you are for that reason.

Thanks!

PDFs for Uefa competition finals

Hi Arbero, I've noticed that you have added a lot of press kits to Uefa final articles, such as in this edit. I was intrigued about how you came across this page, I've spend about an hour and a half now trying to find similar info for other finals on the uefa site, to no avail. Thought I might be able to find more of these if I know where to look! cheersNapHit (talk) 19:09, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

K-League

I hope you realise that I have reverted all your edits for the recent Korean football league season. The league still has 14 games to go! Druryfire (talk) 14:37, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

2012-13 VfB Stuttgart season

Why do you think your way is more correct than everybody else? Kingjeff (talk) 18:13, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

The issue with club website is how long will it be available as a source? With kicker magazine's website, it will be there for many many years. As for the football box template, it isn't policy. Therefore, we're not required to follow the example 100%. The example is more to show how the template works. You need to watch when reverting. You accidently removed valid content. Kingjeff (talk) 18:39, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

For the result in the match template, you don't have to capitalize the letter since the letter doesn't actually show up. Kingjeff (talk) 18:53, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

I don't think there is very much difference in how I use it and how the template shows it. We don't need to put countries in for domestic matches. I only do that for European competitions. I put the goal template on the left side of the players name for players who play for the team on the right side. With the amount of club season articles, I won't be adding mre than goals. Kingjeff (talk) 18:58, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

If anything needs to be done, players need to be added to that template in the Player information section. Kingjeff (talk) 19:00, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

2012 Summer Paralympics medal table

Looks like you double counted. Iran has only 1 gold. I updated it and removed the schedule too. A lot of the numbering has to change..(Lihaas (talk) 12:47, 1 September 2012 (UTC)).

Wheelchair fencing

Hi, I wonder if you have an error in the way you are creating the group tables, as they aren't coming out symmetrical. For instance top left of Wheelchair fencing at the 2012 Summer Paralympics – Women's épée A Group A you have CHN-UKR 4–5 but UKR-CHN 1–5, and several others. It looks like the ones below the diagonal are right and those above are sometimes wrong. Thanks for helping update the 2012–13 I Liga (Poland) article. important updates at Messi's page

there is important discussion about messi's page at [footbal]

the discussion about :

1-adding back the assists which have been removed ( and i think its really important ) especially most notable players have it and even less known player than messi have this statistics which is important for any striker .(remember the debate about messi vs ronalod have lots about messi makes more assists than ronaldo )

2-adding back the youth and under -23 goals because they are different statistics from senior one and u cant merge them together . since fifa themself separate them differently .

3-about the table of messi goals and if its important info or just long statistics(useless one).

Thank you all . adnantalk 12 pm 16 october 2012 (UTC)

Hi there ARBERO, AL here,

can you please stop unpiping Borussia Mönchengladbach's name in box? Thank you.

Happy weekend, from Portugal --AL (talk) 02:01, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

  • My message, not offensive not sir, but it was a bit hysterical. I apologize for it and keep up the good work! But seriously, not even German users seem to have a problem with Borussia M'gladbach in the infobox, we can keep it that way --AL (talk) 15:36, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
  • No man, no different rules for different players, i only referred to the players where i edit massively (Juan Arango, Álvaro Domínguez Soto, etc, Uwe Kamps for retired ones), never edited in the examples you mention. Of course if you write the full name most people won't notice/revert it, but i feel compression is warranted, it's a HUGE name. --AL (talk) 18:51, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

2012–13 Fußball-Bundesliga edits

When you edit would you mind using the show preview button as it helps find any errors you have made before saving them, it prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Also, it's a good idea to add an edit summary before saving your changes, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Otherwise, your making some outstanding contributions. Thanks. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:22, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

The article 1964 European Nations' Cup statistics has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unsourced, most info is in main tournament article anyway

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
