Please refrain from removing majority/minority on the sejm page Misleading edits

[edit]

Information icon The sejm page is semi-locked by my request, PiS is outvoted in every sejm vote there is so far. The parties in majority have signed a coalition agreement (expect for Left Together which has however signaled that it will support the new govt when it forms in votes of confidence) And although we can't add Goverment/Opposition signs just yet. Minority/Majority has already crystalized itself — Preceding unsigned comment added by Octilllion (talkcontribs) 20:51, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Also your edits have errors in them. KwIn as the short version for Confederation? (That's the shortening for the Korwin party) L for the left???? Octilllion (talk) 02:44, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Konfederacja participated in the elections as a party called Konfederacja Wolności i Niepodległość, thus the shortening, not a de iure coalition. Get your facts straight before correcting anyone.
BTW - KORWiN was already an acronym (Koalicja Odnowy Rzeczypospolitej Wolność i Równość) Arasakacorp (talk) 10:45, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Polish Affairs moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Polish Affairs, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 21:10, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Mate you're refering to an extremely laughable source in KORWiN article and putting religion into ideology box in KKP. Who's unconstructive here Arasakacorp (talk) 21:34, 20 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

AGROunia editing

[edit]

Hello, I saw your AGROunia edits - I want to let you know that calling the party "socially right-wing" is inappropiate and is not backed by any source. If you really want to dispute that, you need to find a credible source that directly calls this party that. Otherwise this is Wikipedia:No original research. What we DO have is the party being called explicitly left-wing: "Agrounia to partia agrarna i socjaldemokratyczna. Zrzesza w swych kręgach głównie rolników, o poglądach lewicowych."[1] or "AgroUnia to siła ludowa z wrażliwością lewicową"[2].

Also regarding the sources you posted - arguing that opposing abortion makes a party "socially right-wing" alone is a pretty reductionist understanding of politics. It is also outdated in case of AGROunia given how Kołodziejczak did change his mind in 2023: "Michał Kołodziejczak zabrał głos ws. postulatu liberalizacji prawa aborcyjnego. – Proszę być spokojnym, ja kobietom przyklepię i zagłosuję tak, jak one będą chciały – powiedział lider Agrounii na antenie RMF FM."[3] He also supports same-sex civil unions.[4] Brat Forelli (talk) 17:46, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Polish election seats breakdown

[edit]

Hi, I saw that you edited the number of seats won by PiS at the latest Polish election. Can I ask you what source did you use for that update? So far in updating party pages with the results I've relied on the figures in the Results section of 2023 Polish parliamentary election, but if you have some updated source I'll take care of updating the numbers for any party. It's just that at the moment different pages present unconsistent figures and I'd like to avoid that. Thanks, Fm3dici97 (talk) 18:32, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It should be a matter of a talk thread whether MPs affiliated and endorsed by parties like PiS should be counted in as member-MPs - e.g. in the 2023 elections article Paweł Kukiz is not listed as an elected MP of... Kukiz'15, because he's not a de iure member of his own party. This is a recurring theme with polish politicians, some are de facto members of their party despite not having a membership card. It's a matter of contextualization that's omitted by whoever made that table in the article.
BTW, there's no punishment for lying about your party affiliation, so the info from the PKW website might not be entirely true either Arasakacorp (talk) 19:42, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I'm familiar with the issue, sadly it's not the only country where there's a discrepancy between party memberships, affiliations and formal parliamentary clubs. Anyways I'm asking because I'd like to have access to the seat count you're referring to (or, if it's not a single source, I'd ask you to make a summary) so that I can intervene in all the (many) pages revolving around the seats result of the election. Thanks again, Fm3dici97 (talk) 07:06, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

November 2023

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Sejm. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Untamed1910 (talk) 02:43, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
