Speedy deletion nomination of User:AnnSoDish
[edit]A tag has been placed on User:AnnSoDish requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Contested deletion
[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because... I don't think I fully understand why it should be deleted? What has to be on my personal page? Thanks for informing me before deleting --AnnSoDish (talk) 14:14, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
Your user page did not conform to Wikipedia's user page guidelines. It is intended for basic information about yourself and your Wikimedia-related activities. Although a lot of freedom is allowed in personalizing your user page, it is not:
- an encyclopedia article (and should not be styled to look like one)
- a workspace for a draft article
- a personal website, blog, or social media site
- a space for self-promotion or other advertising
- a CV/resumé
- a lengthy autobiography
The user page guidelines have additional information on what is and what is not considered acceptable content. I hope that this helps answers some of your questions. Thank you. Best, GPL93 (talk) 14:16, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
But then I deleted the text because it was supposed to be in a draft, my mistake... I still don't understand why then the whole page has to be deleted? If I just delete the text it ok isn't it? Is the fact hat the page is deleted a problem in the future?AnnSoDish(talk)
- Blanking pages you've created is taken as a good faith request to delete it. As if you'd tagged it {{db-author}} yourself.
- In my early days on the wiki I took a couple of attempts at creating pages in my userspace, gave up on them and moved on to a different topic in the same userpage. As a result there are a couple of articles which (to my shame) have wholly irrelevant crap in their histories. Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 14:42, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
Ok thanks :-) I'll keep on trying AnnSoDish(talk)

Your draft article, Draft:Nix (rapper)
[edit]Hello, AnnSoDish. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Nix".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. ƏXPLICIT 09:56, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
