Dear Anjossp, Hi I notive you have been working on an article on Santosh K. Mehrotra. I know of his work and was one of the two who wanted to keep the article that was unfortunately deleted at this afd: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Santosh Mehrotra. The accusation made in the proposal for deletion was that this was a "repeatedly recreated WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY. The article is all primary sources and might not meet notability guidelines". One the contributors to the debate, one whose opinion I suspect spurred others to vote for delete and was in my view the deciding factor argued it was "Unsourced autobiography, repeatedly re-created, promotional language. It would need a ground-up rewrite by a neutral party to be sure of getting rid of the promotional content and so far the only significant contributor to the article has been the subject." He argued "without consideration of whether the subject is notable, per WP:TNT".
I think the current draft might well get in trouble again specially as the last deletion resulted in a "salting" ... WP:SALT. I think a much more trimmed down - less CVish approach - perhaps no picture - might have a better chance of surviving. Please let me know if you wish help. I think Deacon's noting of Mehotra's "marked impact upon global social policy discourses" and his editorship, with Jolly of "the influential Development with a Human Face".[Deacon, Bob. 1997 Global social policy: International organizations and the future of welfare. Sage] might be the kind of thing that helps. These are just my thoughts. Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 15:38, 9 March 2015 (UTC))
