Hey y'all!
[edit]We're going to be having our first Mississippi meetup next month, and I would love it if you'd like to come out! A few of us will be staying overnight, so if you feel up to it, we could have a meet and greet that night and then breakfast the next morning and talk about Wikipedia and everyone's areas of expertise. Let's show 'em how it's done Southern-style! Mike H. Fierce! 22:24, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Malcolm Gillis (runner)
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Malcolm Gillis (runner), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Google doesn't show much. Found this page 1. While this contains some impressive feats, it does not initially look like subject meets notability. Records/wins seem to be limited to masters group. Google doesn't return much other coverage.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. NowCommons: File:GeorgeEdwardes.jpg
[edit]File:GeorgeEdwardes.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:GeorgeEdwardes.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:GeorgeEdwardes.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 22:37, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ars Nova School of the Arts
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ars Nova School of the Arts, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for Deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Thanks for help on List of municipalities in Alabama
[edit]Hello, I'm also trying to update List of municipalities in Alabama and I'm wondering if your source for the population figures is easier to read than mine, I can't seem to find a spreadsheet which lets me update this list faster than a clunky website. Thanks! Mattximus (talk) 13:45, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
