Worry not! ;)

Worry not, my dear Magnus, for a shiny day will come in which you are chosen to be the Wikipedain of the Day. That doesn't mean in the least that you're not an Awesome Wikipedian already, sweetie! ;) But I can only have one person per day... and your Day is coming, count on it :) Love, Phaedriel - 01:23, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Awwww... if you're trying to bribe me, then... you're doing an awesome job! ;) Thank you, dear Magnus, I'll cherish your gift forever. Green signatures, united for world domination! ;) Phaedriel - 01:34, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

More layout errors

The areas highlighted in red are of concern
What possible purpose can this serve?

Once again, a portion of your userspace is rendered illegible or unnavigable by errors. I have selected the section of your userpage that links to your Barnstars, at right. Note that it effectively disables navigation to four of the six links that surround it.

Your userpage and Talk page are a slew of {{includes}}, CSS, and raw HTML. Wikipedia is designed to abstract all of the low-level details of page display so that we don't have to deal with them when creating pages (and dance around them when editing). Your excessive usage of formatting directives cause rendering problems, navigability problems, accessibility problems, and makes it basically impossible to edit your pages without an extensive knowledge of CSS [1]. It also frankly looks unprofessional; a 12-year-old girl's MySpace is expected to overflow with multi-hued versions of her name and cute icons of her favorite animals; a Wikipedia page is not.

Yes, this is the User namespace. Yes, we tend to let our hair down a little more here, allowing self-expression that could be seen as very disruptive were it in other parts of the Project, and giving much more latitude in page formatting (after all, your User page also doubles as a navigation aid to you, and that's a not-insignificant portion of its purpose). However, you seem to insist on making every last part of your User space new, different, and unusual. To me, at least, this violates least astonishment in the sense that people have become accustomed to certain user interface paradigms in Wikipedia, and your page deviates from those. As a person working his way down the path towards administrator status, willful disregard of precedent does not bode well for you.

I realize this comes off as a bit harsh, but having spent a great deal of time working with people who use screen readers and other accessibility software and hardware to access the Internet, I've seen the devolution of information from the days of Gopher, which was seemingly designed for accessibility, to the modern-day Flash-studded XHTML/Flex/PDF monstrosities that contribute nothing for those without full physical capabilities and a fast Internet connection, let alone contribute to the searchable content that is the saving grace propping up this otherwise-completely-unmanageable firehose of information that is the World Wide Web. Wikipedia has always been a stalwart supporter of accessibility; I know more than a few Wikieditors who are able to read and contribute by means of a custom Monobook.js and Monobook.css. Similarly, the consistent user interface has always been strongly supported in the Wikimedia software by providing us with extensive formatting tools such as tables and inline, auto-thumbnailed images, complete with captions. Please respect that history and those reading your page, and consider removal of everything extraneous, everything surprising, and everything not accomplished primarily or exclusively through the use of plain, simple, and direct WikiMarkup.

Yours,

Editing to ensure that you've seen the above, as I haven't gotten a response. Jouster  (whisper) 00:43, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
May I then conclude that you consider it inappropriate? Ill-advised? Overstepping my bounds? Inconvenient to implement? It is hard to tell from your response if you are upset with my placement of it—would you rather I move it elsewhere, perhaps to a subpage of my user space? I don't feel we're communicating effectively at the moment. Jouster  (whisper) 00:51, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Bumping this, I'm still working on a response and don't want it archived, quite yet. Jouster  (whisper) 03:38, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Bureaucracy

I suggest that the IP:131.104.218.102 being blocked temp. I my mind it is claer that it only wants do do vandalism, to duplicate a section and give a false edit summary is a sneaky form of vandalsim. I would like to hear your opinion before I nomiate the IP.
Best regards adn happy editing. Mads Angelbo Talk / Contribs 17:47, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

It is that the IP sole edit hisotry is of vandalism, ín my opinion it is preemtive measure to prevent the vandalism to spread to other articles and/or under an account. Mads Angelbo Talk / Contribs 17:54, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
I agree a chool wide block is in order. Mads Angelbo Talk / Contribs 18:00, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Think it is somebody from the school, I am looking over contribs from the svhool IP, currentely I have checked 131.104.218.100 to 131.104.218.117, serveral of the going back to early May(131.104.218.113) made the exsact same edit to the article. I still think a School wide ban is in order. Hoewever I am not an admin. Mads Angelbo Talk / Contribs 18:15, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
So far I have been through contribs for 131.104.218.90 to 131.104.218.130, all of them have been vandalism of some kind exccpet on in year 2006. Mads Angelbo Talk / Contribs 18:21, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
I agree with that motion, i keep an eye out for any sign of misbehaviour from the IP range, and if it is serious enough I report them. Hope this is my last post. Best regards. Mads Angelbo Talk / Contribs 18:28, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for the barnstar.. I think! :-) I honestly do take out the low hanging images that really are not that questionable. Don't really like being that confrontational. There is a lot of stuff hanging around after three or four years.--User:Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr) 17:55, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Ben Franklin

What was wrong with edit on "Ben Franklin (The Office US)"? It was definitely not vandalism; just trimming the synopsis as was requested. Comelloyellow 21:47, 2 June 2007 (UTC)comelloyellow

You wanna try for adminship?

We have never encountered each other before, but, after seeing your editor review, looking at your contributions, and seeing how active you are, I thought to myself: this guy could really make rfa. So, if you are interested in my proposal, please contact me on my talk page. (I havent created the page yet; I'll wait for your reply). thanks, and, if you choose to accept - Good luck! Anonymous Dissident Utter 22:51, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Ok, sure. Maybe your coach should create the page. i would be pleased to co-nominate however. Regards, Anonymous Dissident Utter 01:43, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

On 09:05, 12 May 2007, you edited Brisbane Broncos stating "clean up using AWB".

What you did was remove links that were linked twice.

So if Brisbane Broncos was linked a second time (like it then was) you removed this.

I don't know if you can, but can you do that to Karmichael Hunt.

YechielMan's RFA

Thank you for participating in either of my unsuccessful requests for adminship. Although the experience was frustrating, it showed me some mistakes I was making, and I hope to learn from those mistakes.

Please take a few minutes to read User:YechielMan/Other stuff/RFA review and advise me how to proceed. Best regards. YechielMan 21:29, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Hey! I noticed that you're editing articles with AWB, changing links to WWII to point directly at World War II. Per Wikipedia:Redirect, it doesn't help Wikipedia to do this, and your editing causes increased strain on the servers. Please look here for the specific guideline. It's fine to avoid redirects while you're doing other edits to the article, but editing just to avoid redirects wastes Wikipedia's bandwidth. Let me know if you have any questions. TomTheHand 01:17, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

World hip hop

First of all, I just started the world hip hop page myself yesterday. Why would I vandalize it? European hip hop is already an article with info for each country, so a short paragraph description of euro hip hop with the link is fine. I'm reverting your changes, and don't them revert them back. You obviously have had problems reverting perfectly fine edits! I also spent a lot of time organizing the hip hop category-world hip hop goes in hip hop by nationality, which is being renamed hip hop by region Cosprings 23:20, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Hello there Magnus animum. I have noticed your active vandal fighting, and because of that I request your opinion on a task force I have proposed. The page is here. Just a friendly note. --Tλε Rαnδоm Eδιτоr 01:33, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

AWB edits

Clean up? It's not. You need to choose a more useful edit summary, for instance, something that accurately reflects the truth? All you need to do is change the edit summary box, and it'll prefix "with AWB" on the end. Easy. And it's worth the effort. --Deskana (talk) 21:49, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

RFA

Hello Magnus. As promised, my offer to nominate you for adminship has now taken effect. You have been doing a good work and I haven't seen any missteps in your latest contributions. If you still wish to have me as a nominator, just confirm that and I'll write a nom in the next 24 hours. However, I just noticed something I hadn't before: you're a middle school student! :-) Some users are ageist (including myself I must confess), who tend to have doubts on a young user's capability to deal with situations that require a lot of patience and maturity. From my personal contact with you I may say that you appear to be mature enough, but I cannot predict how your age might actually affect the outcome of your RFA. So, I've decided to establish a condition for my nomination. You must vow to list yourself at Category:Administrators open to recall shortly after you're made an admin. And you must vow to voluntarily submit to a recall if at least 3 users in good standing ask you to. If these conditions are okay with you, then I'll gladly write my nom soon. :-) Best regards, Húsönd 02:33, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Ok, I'm done. You must now accept and answer to the standard questions. Don't forget to change the ending time before transcluding your RFA to WP:RFA. Good luck! :-) Best regards, Húsönd 16:32, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
No problem. :-) Húsönd 22:18, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

My RFA

Hello Animum/Archives/2007/June, I just wanted to thank you for giving your comments at my recent RFA. While it didnt pass (I withdrew after it became apparent that the RFA was "sinking like the titanic" =]), I will try to focus on and build upon your comments, and the comments of all the other Wikipedians who participated. Thanks again for voicing your opinion, and I wish you very happy editing! Anonymous Dissident Utter 06:23, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for reverting my user page. RuneWiki777 22:48, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Your RFA

Hello Magnus. Your RFA is going pretty well. However, I should advise you not to give too much importance to Jouster's comments. Fighting back is totally unproductive and can be quite harmful for your RFA. I fact, you already got an extra oppose because of it. Please stay calm. Have your tea! :-) Regards and good luck, Húsönd 01:04, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

By the way, I've removed Jouster's comment disclosing your school. You should request oversight if you don't want that information to be public. Regards, Húsönd 01:05, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Editing my comments

Please stop immediately. I am obviously online; leaving me a message asking me to redact the appropriate portion of my comments would be MUCH more appropriate than doing so yourself.

As a simple way to solve this—may I have permission to mention any of the following:

  • Your physical location (county-level granularity)
  • The type of school you attend
  • The name of the school you attend

Jouster  (whisper) 01:47, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Nope, your edits appear to be fine, at least at first glance. I'll go over them again in a moment. Husond's were far more inclusive, so I've put together a response that doesn't rely on the restricted information and reinserted it. Again, as it would quickly and completely resolve the situation at hand, may I have permission to post any subset of the above three bullet points? If not, I still feel that you have made that information public, but with your permission, we can stop this Oversight stuff now and move on with your RfA.
Also, please note my comment at Husond's talk page with regards to the "public-ness" of your IP address. Jouster  (whisper) 02:13, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Actually, you didn't change anything. I have made the change that I'm guessing you wanted? Please correct me if not. Jouster  (whisper) 02:22, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

A note on your RfA

The whole thing is spiraling out of control over there, and I certainly don't want to make my argument any more complex than it already is. However, I wanted to bring this up to you:

#::So are you basically saying that you are opposing because you don't like the way my user and user talk pages are formatted? « ANIMUM » 16:23, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Your use of an italicized "my" seems to imply lack of familiarity with WP:NOT#What_your_user_page_is_not. In the interest of being a better administrator, please consider rereading that link. Jouster  (whisper) 01:59, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Your adminship

Let me be, if not the first, at least one of the first 50 editors to congratulate you on your successful RfA. I've seen you around all over the Wiki since you were originally User:Steptrip and I appreciate your dedication to the project and I know you will do a fine job.

I do urge you to re-read and take on board some of the concerns that were expressed in your RfA, as you start to wield the administrator tools. Take things slow, and don't hesitate to consult with other admins if you have any questions or if it would be worth obtaining a second opinion about anything. That was important to me when I started adminning and I know it will serve you in good stead as well.

All the best, and see you around the Wiki. Newyorkbrad 20:15, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Page protection

Hi, congratulations on the adminship. I'd just like to talk to you about a page protection. To be honest, I feel that you're protecting pages that should otherwise be declined. For example, the history of Tropical Cyclone indicates that it was vandalised twice by an one IP before you protected, but not for nine hours before that. Personally, I think the IP should have been blocked, because then protection wouldn't have been necessary. I'd like to ask that you consider the threshold for protection a bit more carefully? Thanks. --Deskana (talk) 20:43, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

No need to apologise. To be honest, I'm glad that it was a simple mistake and not a more complicated misinterpretation of protection standards. :-) --Deskana (talk) 20:47, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
Page protection is a difficult thing to comprehend at first. Usually, it takes a few weeks of experience to get the hang of things. Nishkid64 (talk) 22:13, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

NHRHS2010 Talk 22:54, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi there. A quick note regarding the IRI vandalism notice. You've responded saying that no action will be taken because no recent final warning was given. Just to check, were you aware that a final warning was recently issued to 206.57.121.14 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) on 8 June by user Avnjay? (There was also a final warning given in March but that one might be a bit old). Cheers Saganaki- 02:01, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi Animum. There is now a recent warning (19 June) on the page. OK to get the process moving? Saganaki- 00:10, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Hmm, that's problematic. The vandal is persistent and some action needs to be taken. However, the vandalism happens once a week (on average) , so the current criteria mean no action can be taken. IE, there is vandalism at t+0, warning note at t+1, next vandalism occurs at t+7 - not recent enough to the last warning for a block. Surely there is something that can be done. The user has vandalised the page more than 20 times so far. Any thoughts? Perhaps you are given some flexibility in cases of persistent vandals. Or would you like me to escalate this? Is there a admin sub group that deals with special cases like this? Cheers Saganaki- 00:23, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Protection of The Rocky Horror Picture Show article

I am sorry to bother you on this subject but I was wondering about something. I recently requested full protection of the article "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" due to edit warring and other problems. I noticed that the protection went up before the result was shown on the request. When the result went up on the request it said "Already protected" So I ask why that result. My request went up BEFORE the protection. Was there another request for protection by someone else through a diferrent route. I noticed there is no other request mentioned on that page. Please inform me as to why the result was not just "Full protection". If someone else made a request I don't need to know who, just what other route a request can be made. --Amadscientist 08:17, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

I just discovered these "dispute resolution" procedures and have been trying to make sure I know all the correct things to do. I thought maybe there was another way to request the ban from the "Result". I thought someone else had requested it before me somewhere else that I was not aware of. Thank you for the reply.
By the way what happens if there is a consensus and a couple of people refuse to follow it and continue to delete properly cited information? I am seeing threats by one editor to not allow me to "Win" on the talk page and another that doesn't think we need to discuss the section or give time for a consensus. In fact the section was re-written and has changed the mind of one editor. There has also been a comment from someone from the Musical Theatre Project, who did the edit and greatly improved and Wikified it.--Amadscientist 23:57, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Regarding this. If it was one I.P. that was vandalizing the page, why didn't you block the I.P. instead of protecting the page? ~ Wikihermit 02:23, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

Board Candidacy

Hi! I'm leaving you this note because we've had extensive and/or productive interaction over the course of my time on this Wiki. I (yep, little ol' Jouster!) am running for election to the Wikimedia Board of Trustees. I would greatly appreciate it if you would please take a look at my submission of candidacy, and consider endorsing me, as that is a requirement for me to stand for election.

If you have any questions or concerns about this notice, please don't hesitate to poke me on my Talk page. If you object to this solicitation for endorsement, please do not hesitate to remove it from your Talk page with my apologies; it will not appear again.

I look forward to serving you all on the Board! Jouster  (whisper) 18:38, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Hello Magnus animum. I just wanted to say thank you for protecting this page. I know that protecting a page is a last resort and to be avoided if possible. I have never seen anything like what went on today in my two years here at wikiP so I appreciate your actions as it allows me to get back to regular editing for awhile. Thanks again. Congrats

Congratulations on your recent RfA! Sr13 06:33, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Congratulations. Here are what pass for words of wisdom from the puppy:
  1. Remember you will always protect the wrong version.
  2. Remember you must always follow the rules, except for when you ignore them. You will always pick the wrong one to do. (See #5)
  3. Remember to assume good faith and not bite. Remember that when you are applying these principles most diligently, you are probably dealing with a troll.
  4. Use the block ability sparingly. Enjoy the insults you receive when you do block.
  5. Remember when you make these errors, someone will be more than happy to point them out to you in dazzling clarity and descriptive terminology.
  6. and finally, Remember to contact me if you ever need assistance, and I will do what I am able.

Orphaned non-free image (Image:AJM logo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:AJM logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:38, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Are you sure that was vandalism and not a content dispute? PouponOnToast 21:33, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Hannibal

I think it would be good to protect the page to the original version, instead of the version that only 1 person agrees with, and at least 3 people have informed him is indiscriminate, unecyclopedic information.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 22:00, 21 June 2007 (UTC) :Ok, but could you explain to me how I was warned for potential 3RR violation when I wasn't even near violating that rule? I had 1 revert on that page, but yet I got warned, in my opinion baselessly.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 22:03, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Nevermind, apparently it was a misunderstanding on the editors part.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 22:04, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Would you mind if I unprotected Hannibal Lecter and simply blocked CyberGhostface (talk · contribs) for violating the three-revert rule? There appear to be two primary participants in the edit war (the other being =CJK=, who has been blocked for a 3RR violation by Alison (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA)). -- tariqabjotu 22:36, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Oh, by the way, don't forget to add one of the protection templates after protecting an article. -- tariqabjotu 22:39, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Congratulations!

Congratulations on your new adnimship status. Hope you can still help out at Motto of the Day ^-^. Happy Editing! YuanchosaanSalutations! 00:47, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Full protection for "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" article ends tomorrow, please see talk page

I thought a consensus was being built for the disputed section. I have done a great deal of work editing, researching and citing sources. Just as several of us had come to an agreement that we could all live with, Atropos is still being oddly difficult. The disputed section has been re-written to meet Wikipedia standards and input taken by others. What do we do tomorrow when protection ends and he returns to his tricks of reverting and editing out several peoples work to fit only his opinion? He is quite stubburn...a trait I can respect but not his refusal to work well with others. I am at my wits end here! --Amadscientist 05:32, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

All compremise has fallen apart. Asking help of a third party has not worked. I have been accused of holding the article hostage by a never ending cycle of arbitration and dispute resolution. The dispute itsef has pissed off several of the few people envolved and now I am just trying to "Have my way". It appears to come down to this....no discussion time should be taken. No dispute resolution procedures should be implemented and we are back to square one. I have no idea what to do now. --Amadscientist 22:41, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Ok then, I dare you to improve one article from this category to atleast good article status, think you're up to it? ;) No time limit. —May the Edit be with you, always. (T|C) 20:02, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Your edit to template round corners

Ummmmm, not sure what happened to my user space......... think it might have been your edit to the round corners template. Anyway to fix this without me having to redo the whole works? Æon Insanity Now! 19:27, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

please review deletion

Please take another look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anybody But You (Jewel song); the nominator was banned and other closing admins kept the bad-faith Afds this user nominated. John Vandenberg 15:53, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

no worries; if I had voted, it would have been a delete, so I am happy with the outcome. I was just alerting you that your delete outcome looked odd in light of the others. John Vandenberg 16:05, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi there; I hope that you can solve a problem for me here. There is clearly an edit war going on as to whether the Principal of this school has, or has not, retired. You have reverted an edit from one of the involved users. I am not in any sense criticising, just hoping for clarification; do you know of your own knowledge who is the Principal at this school?--Anthony.bradbury"talk" 23:51, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

OK, I guess that the fact that you've blocked him answers my question.--Anthony.bradbury"talk" 23:58, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Actually, no. The "accusation" of Chris Cho as a communist is some three edits before the final one. And is that an attack? It would not be seen as such on this side of the Pond. And it is still not clear to me who is correct about the name of the Principal. You may well be correct, but in an edit war it is important not to block the wrong party; or perhaps we should block both for WP:3RR. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 00:10, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Yes, your re-iteration of policy is entirely correct. As I said I was not criticising, just asking. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 00:15, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

thanks

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/N96, by Miranda (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/N96 fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/N96, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/N96 itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 02:22, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi!

Hello! It's my first time to interact here in Wikipedia. Can you be my friend? --Bitsofchelle 10:23, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

My dear Magnus

Thank you for all that you have done!
How much love resides therein!
All one's gifts are never gone:
Not seen, perhaps, but stored within.
Kindness is an inner sun.

Your unspent heart a message sends
Of grace and sacrifice hard-won
Upon which happiness depends!

Thank you so much, dear Magnus!

Love,
Phaedriel

Hi there. You blocked this user, and I have absolutely no argument with that. But he has asked for unblock; and his reason is, I think, the strongest reason I have ever seen NOT to unblock. It is truly astounding what some people will write, and think. You must take a look.--Anthony.bradbury"talk" 23:32, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Point taken; I missed that one. I assume that she didn't unblock? (joke)--Anthony.bradbury"talk" 23:40, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Converting to unicode?

What was the point of converting this to unicode?. There's no reason to have a user go through the extra trouble of not being able to copy from the edit window, and I don't see why it would need to be done anyway. --(Review Me) R ParlateContribs@ (Let's Go Yankees!) 23:04, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

America Abroad

Hey there. I was looking though the block log for some reason, and I noticed that you {{usernameblocked}} America Abroad (talk · contribs). The log said that you also blocked account creation. Was that an accident, or was it on purpose, because this user has a long history of bad usernames? Just thought I'd point it out. :) GrooveDog 17:25, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

Re:Just a question

Hi Magnus, do you mean my current signature which I changed just today (The Sunshine Man) or my old blue one? I got the idea from the little navigation bar on Daniel and AGk's userpages'. When you mentioned edit counts, a lot of mine are extensive work with images and RC patrol, I assume yours are article work. Cheers --The Sunshine Man 19:53, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for protecting Savage's page, but what can be done in 3 days in the face of such concerted POV efforts by at least two individuals?

What if another admin unprotects early? Did you compare edits and see the blatant propaganda? But thanks again anyway. 216.194.0.30 14:35, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

User:Riana deleted the page protection as I foresaw allowing this disgraceful piece of propaganda to remain as it was. Did she consult with you?

User:Vintagekits deleted my edits on the talk page (see http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Martin_Savage&diff=prev&oldid=141607325).216.194.0.30 14:50, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Please block this IP or User:Rms125a@hotmail.com and give us all some peace. regards--Vintagekits 14:53, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

I have no problem with your decision to protect this article, but I would like to know who made the request, and/or how you came to the conclusion to take such action. The real problem, currently, are the edits by the IP of a banned user. Other than his meddling, there are no issues involving this article. And you protected the article before I was able to revert his most recent changes. ---TheoldanarchistComhrá 14:34, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

As Vintagekits has correctly pointed out, the banned user is operating through an IP series in order to evade his long-standing ban. IP #s include: 216.194.0.30, 216.194.20.235, 216.194.0.251, and 216.194.3.103---all of these from just the past two days. ---TheoldanarchistComhrá 15:38, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for your quick response, and your attention to this matter. ---TheoldanarchistComhrá 15:49, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Frycook What Came from All That Space

How was my edit on above page considered vandalism? I was merely shaving the plot summary down, since it was labeled as having an overly long plot. - DamnCartoonGuy

Hail to the grymm og frostbitten necrobrutal kvlt vandal!

Why don't you remove that frequently vandalized page, recep t. erdogan, completely?

If you do so, everything will be OK.

Thanx,

Stay grymm og frostbitten

Ave!

Your threatening message about removing content

You recently sent me a message about vandalism for removing text. Do you actually look at the content that is being changed or just decide to send threatening messages because a large amount of text is removed? The section is now cleaned up, more concise, and I fixed some of the wording. In the future, you should actually read the reasoning for change before deciding any removal of text is a bad thing.

Vandal

hi how do i get someone blocked whos vandalising everything i do?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by TBSfan1223 (talkcontribs)

He won't let me put info

Me: Hi can we talk over our edits to The Used discography on article's talk page??

Him: lol...look dude we have a page for the discovery section so we have the link that takes us to it so we dont need another discovery under the link...the link is there so we can go to the discovery page

...now for the discovery page itself...the way u listed it was just writting every to the right of the album cover that it says if u click the link for that album...its un-needed....if sum1 wants to no the tracklist of who produced it they cud click the link, it look cleaner and nicer this way

Me: Yes but its a Discography page it sould have all the information about The Used's Discography.

Him: and it does ahve info about the used discovery..but u cant just rewrite the whole page of the album right next to the cover art,,,thats silly...plus for their other appearences..its jsut one song, putting all artwork and album info for one song on an album is a bit silly too i wudnt mind a list of albums that they appeared on but we realli dont need the artwork for that it cud just say the used had 1 song on the following soundtracks..u no

So do u agree that its a Discography page it sould have all the information about The Used's Discography?? Including Track listing and Other appearances Albums see My Chemical Romance discography thats how i had it but with The Used info and Peak chart positions now its just well nothing really thats the point of the page a "Discography" page with information it dosen have much now.

Hey sorry

Hey sorry it's allright we figured it out —Preceding unsigned comment added by TBSfan1223 (talkcontribs)
