Notability of Healing Through Remembering
[edit]A tag has been placed on Healing Through Remembering requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. WWGB (talk) 11:38, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Healing Through Remembering, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. -Lilac Soul (talk • contribs • count) 11:58, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you add inappropriate external links, as you did with this edit to Healing Through Remembering. Kraftlos (Talk | Contrib) 12:12, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
- I would comment that I have both declined the speedy deletion request, and also the report at WP:AIV requesting you be blocked as a vandal. I urge that you quickly familiarise yourself with WP requirements and practice by following the links in the message at the top of this page. Please note that the article may yet be deleted if it does not reach the accepted standards in a short while. I will end by mentioning that Healing Through Remembering is not your article, and that by allowing other editors to help improve the piece it will likely become an established article quickly. Helpful projects
[edit]Thanks for your message on my talkpage. While I am happy to provide advice on an individual basis on general matters, I think that your editing of the article may be better served if you took the assistance of the members of the following groups; Wikipedia:WikiProject Northern Ireland and Wikipedia:WikiProject Ireland. Not only does the Healing Through Remembering meet the criteria for inclusion, but the members at these projects are very used to editing collaboratively within the particular environment relating to The Troubles. I can recommend the good help you are likely to find there. If you have any other query, please do not hesitate to contact me again. LessHeard vanU (talk) 13:35, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Day of Private Reflection
[edit]A tag has been placed on Day of Private Reflection requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Proposed deletion of Day of Private Reflection
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Day of Private Reflection, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Non-notable, regional "holiday"
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:The Troubles are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. BigDuncTalk 18:01, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
