Asian American Performance Art
[edit]An article you created, Asian American Performance Art is not ready, and is at risk of deletion. I would like to propose to you that I move it to Draft:Asian American Performance Art where you can work on it until it is ready, without being bothered by new page reviewers like myself. Once it is ready you will be able to submit your draft for review. You can reply directly below this message. Mduvekot (talk) 04:23, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
Hello, Angichan0. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Asian American Performance Art, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Response to e-mail
[edit]Hi! It looks like the template mentioned on your talk page is in reference to the proposed deletion. It basically says that someone else placed a PROD template on the page and that it will be deleted in a week's time unless you (or someone else) contests the PROD by removing the template.
That said, I took a look at the page and it looks like it's fairly scant on content. You need to add more to the page to give better context to the history of Asian American performance art and how this topic expands on the pre-existing article for Asian Americans in arts and entertainment. You may want to work on expanding one of the sections in the main article like this section on Asian Americans in the theater, if that interests you, as that can be a good way to get used to editing before finishing your proposed article. The main thing to remember is that your article (and any edits) need to be backed up by independent and reliable sources like academic books or newspaper sources that discuss the topic of Asian Americans in performance art. You can use the websites for organizations that are involved with or support performance art to back up the assertions that they're involved, but they can't really show notability for the topic. move to draft (proposal)
[edit]I suggest that we move Asian American Performance Art to Draft:Asian American Performance Art without leaving a redirect and let Angichan0 continue to work on Draft:Asian American Performance Art. The article is not ready for publication in the main/article space of the encyclopedia, and very likely to be deleted. It has already been proposed for deletion. Angichan0, are you OK with that?
