Stanley Gibbons

I noticed your generic source to a Stanley Gibbons catalogue in a recent edit to Regional postage stamps of Great Britain. This is not very helpful to readers who may like to refer to the actual source. Which one of these 119 catalogues is it? May I suggest that instead of such paucity of information that you will find it more useful to use one of the full citation templates which allows you to fill is all source's details. Ideally these should be inline citations with page numbers. The same goes for The Stamp Atlas. Mind you there are several philatelic articles where editors have done the same as you and I wish I had the time to provide more useful and detailed source information. Hope that helps. Truthfully, I've no idea what the Stamp Atlas is. I've referred to the 2002 edition of the SG GB Concise Catalogue in the meantime, but I'm going to update references and finish the job properly when I buy the 2009 edition - part of the problem is changing page numbers, and the rest of it is that in the 2002 edition, all relevant information can be found within six pages - which does explain why the previous editors failed to cite properly.
