License tagging for File:Athoc-thumb.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Athoc-thumb.gif. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:05, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Athoc-logo.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Wayne Olajuwon (talk) 17:01, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Athoc-logo.gif

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Athoc-logo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
  • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to your talk page.
  • If you believe the bot has made an error, please turn it off here and leave a message on my owner's talk page.

Maintenance tags

[edit]

Hi! Please do not remove maintenance tags from articles without fixing the issues involved. Tags help point other users to problems that exist in the article so that it can be improved. I am going to explain on the article's talk page right now why I specifically added those tags, so if you believe I am wrong, please discuss there. Thanks! Qwyrxian (talk) 01:02, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Again today you removed the maintenance tags. Please know that removing maintenance tags without a clear reason (i.e., without either discussing or fixing the problems) is considered disruptive editing, and can result in your account being blocked. Again, I strongly request that you discuss this on the article's talk page.
Actually, I just noticed an even more critical issue. I am concerned that you have a conflict of interest on this case. There is an Andrew Young who is the President of Core and More Technologiess, LLC, which is a key partner with AtHoc. It seems likely to me that you either are the same person or are closely connected with that person. If you are connected with AtHoc (either directly or as a business partner), you need to read our policy on editing with a conflict of interest, which you can find at WP:COI. In short, you are strongly discouraged from editing any articles you have a conflict of interest on. If you do edit them, you must take extra care to ensure that you follow all of our editing policies and guidelines, especially about keeping a neutral point of view. If you do not think that you can do that (and your removal of the templates seems to indicate that), then you need to stop editing the article. Instead, discuss your concern's on the article's talk page, and we will work together to address them. Please note that a company cannot "control" the article about it or a its partners. Please ask if you have any questions about this. Qwyrxian (talk) 23:32, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Athoc, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. -- azumanga (talk) 02:20, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Athoc for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Athoc is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Athoc until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. VQuakr (talk) 01:01, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. VQuakr (talk) 15:38, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Talk pages

[edit]

Please note that editors may never remove other people's comments from talk pages like you did at Talk:Athoc. The only exception is on your own, personal, user talk page. Thanks. Qwyrxian (talk) 00:31, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
