Long Horse

Wrt Long Horse: You reverted the most truthful version of the page to date. It seems that if there is any merit at all to having this page in wikipedia, the page you reverted by McGeddon was the best candidate. Would you please consider undoing your revert. --RanchoRosco 21:37, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thoughts on Penumbra (game) article

I noticed you just deleted the article on Penumbra (game). This article was over a tech demo. Since it has been announced that the developers are making a full-length, commercial version of the game which has gotten coverage on various major gaming websites (such as Gamespot and IGN), would it be okay to create the article about this game as opposed to the tech demo? The commercial version was only briefly mentioned in the article, but changing it to be the focus of the article makes it more notable. ShadowMan1od 21:59, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

CakeProphet vote

You left a support vote for The prophet wizard of the crayon cake ([1]). I don't question your opinion, but I don't really understand it based on the comment given; was it meant to be an oppose vote? Ral315 (talk) 22:32, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, just making sure you didn't click the wrong section. I wasn't sure on the face of the comment whether it was sarcasm or an accident. Ral315 (talk) 22:44, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your input is requested

Your input would be appreciated at this Request for Comments. Kelly Martin (talk) 19:45, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Man, you just can't leave it alone, can you?

Despite it dodging the bullet you aimed at it for AFD, you'd just like to see the article go down in any way possible, wouldn't you? Doesn't matter if it was cleaned up or anything. - BlazeHedgehog 10:41, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cut it out, dude. Do you want to get in trouble with the Ninja of Peace again??!? --Luigifan 12:24, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding WP:Software

This is a proposed guideline, and as such isn't a suitable reason to delete an article (yet). I mention this as you have placed this as a rational for a number of AfDs. Lack of references however is a reason for proposing a deletion, so I suggest that it may be better to stick to this rational for AfD (as many of the articles you list have had referencing trouble. Weak Atheism

I would like to pose the same question to you that I just put in the talk page for strong and weak atheism. I wrote that I thought that the article should be redirected because the terms strong and weak atheism were illogical, strong atheism is atheism by definition and weak atheism is agnosticism by definition and the terms seemed to me to have no meaning, I read your response to somebody making like-minded arguments except he/she had a problem with the very term, whereas I have more of a question over what makes the terms different from agnostic and atheist. Of course I wouldn't actually redirect an article without talking to other editors and hate to be a bother but it would help put my mind at ease if you could explain as a weak atheist what differences there are between your views and agnosticism or differences between the terms themselves. I have no problem with the content but my question is more based on semantics and the fact that the terms are mentioned repeatedly in the article on atheism. Please forgive me if the question makes me look like a jerk, I don't mean it that way, its really an honest question on terminology.--Colin 8 00:11, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just wrote something that might apply and wondered what your opinion was. More relevantly you might be able to help me find citations, you may disagree with my findings but I think its at least a valid argument as well as the best argument I've written down (sad though that might be) and I can't believe that I'm the first to make these basic points (probably others made them more eloquently) and figure you might have read some authors or pundits or whatever who made these points and what the fathers of secular ethics opinions were. I figured if you could help me find some citations than you could add a counter-argument and it could really improve this article. Sorry to bother you again. --Colin 8 02:57, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AfD Nomination: Facade Computer

I've nominated the article Facade Computer for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Facade Computer satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Facade Computer. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of Facade Computer during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. -- Chondrite 16:47, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Admin coaching

Hi Andrevan. I've been coordinating the admin coaching program lately. Would you like a student? If so I will match you with one. Thank you for participating. --Fang Aili talk 18:31, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I should be lining up a student soon. --Fang Aili talk 17:37, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've matched you with User:Icelandic Hurricane. Please contact him/her to get started, and update your status when the coaching becomes "official". Thank you! --Fang Aili talk 22:53, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! Finally, I actually like being a student for something that I like! Yay! Anyway, nice to meet you. íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 21:50, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think I'll be ready around 19:15 UTC. I won't be home until about 18:50 UTC, so yea. Then I think I'll be ready to start getting coached. íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 16:55, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No sorry. The closest to that would be the chatroom on my freewebs site (http://www.freewebs.com/icehurr6974). You can go on that if you want. íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 16:57, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello--just checking in with you and your student. Have you figured out how to communicate with eachother? Has any coaching taken place? Please let me know. Thank you! --Fang Aili talk 15:30, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Adventures of Fatman afd

Please do not make up lies be more specific about the quality of links: "Many (if not all) of the sources recently added seem not to meet WP:EL". Which ones, pray tell? (edited to take out my previous incivility) --Amaccormack 16:25, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The first 3D Game made

Sorry Andrea I made a mistake and I owe you a apology. But what I found out that the true first 3D Game ever made was a PS game called Jumping Flash which was released in Japan only. I edited it in that page and I put in that it was the first 3D game. It was made at 1995. Is that okay??? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Milos Warrior (talkcontribs) 08:08, 17 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Nintendo Power

Hello, you said on the CVG Magazine talk page that you have a lot of Nintendo Power magazines. Could you look to see if you have the ones with the review for Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil? Also, if there is anything like a preview of Turok 2 that would be good for a development section would also be appreciated. Thanks. Thunderbrand 15:52, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

...

Sir, I honestly don't know what you were thinking. You have deleted articles for many good games that have solid reputations. You deleted games, such as Jumper!, Ark 22, Hovecraft 3D, among others. My current Example: Jumper!. You said it were non-notable. Well, notability is a PROPOSED guideline. "The following is a proposed Wikipedia policy, guideline, or process. The proposal may still be in development, under discussion, or in the process of gathering consensus for adoption. References or links to this page should not describe it as "policy".

A proposal's acceptance or rejection is not determined simply by counting votes."

Also, as per the rules of having more than one link where the software is not hosted, for Jumper alone I can give you some of sites. Just google "jumper ogmo": http://www.inverteddungeon.com/docpan/jumper.html http://gamemakergames.com/?a=view&id=1110 http://www.everything2.com/index.pl?node_id=1546599 It is not a "fangame". Wikipedia's fangame article straight up says: "Fangames are computer and video games made by fans featuring popular based on one or more established video games." Jumper has Fangames based from it, and it is not a remake, etc of another game, though it does feature things that are reminiscant of popular platformers.

Now, I just want to make something clear with you, however. I am not meaning to attack you, and I really have nothing against you. I just think that some articles were unfairly deleted. With your blessings, I would like to restart the Jumper article, and mabye the other articles too, with some help from people that play them more than I do.

I present my case, and await your reply. --Injur3d 02:13, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

Thanks for going around trying to delete everything I've ever touched. Good to see that you're not bitter that you lost The Shivah, Ben Jordan, 5 Days a Stranger, etc. --Amaccormack 11:25, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Feliz Navidad

O.K., so maybe you don't believe in Santa, but I still want to wish you and your loved ones a "Happy Holidays" and all of the happiness in the world and the best new year ever. Your friend, Tony the Marine 23:55, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AfD?

Hello. What was your point in starting the AfD debate again? I agree that the way of closure was unconventional, but within the good purview of WP:IAR. Neither you nor the other participants cared to dig up sources on the issue. I brought out sources from CNN, BBC and other reliable sources. Please take this to WP:DRV and revert your edits. — Nearly Headless Nick 16:44, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sir, another administrator has left a message on my talk page. Regards, — Nearly Headless Nick 17:25, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
