Congratulations! You have passed your final exam, and graduated with a distinction! I am really impressed and proud of you - you have made some great improvements since starting, and especially between the last two exams. Don't see this as an end point: keep working and learning wherever you can, and please still come to me with any questions you might have. Again, well done!
You can see the breakdown of your exam on your academy page. ItsZippy (talk • contributions) 17:49, 2 September 2012 (UTC) |

I apologise if i think you are someone that you are not, you flagged some of my additions to the Lord Bloody Wog Rolo article as Vandalism, regardless of who you are you obviously have limited understanding of wp:vandalism and i would ask you to read up on the subject. If you believe i am the one not understanding wp:vandalism please have the courtesy to leave a message on my talk page explaining how the 3 edits of mine you reverted at 07:09 on the first of September 2012 were a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of wikipedia.124.182.142.3 (talk) 13:18, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

Plan of action
Hi Anderson.
I'm leaving you this message because from what I've seen, you're coming close to getting yourself topic banned or even blocked from the encyclopedia. That's clearly not something that anyone wants to happen so I'm going to make a suggestion of how you should proceed for the next few months.
Areas to stay away from
- For the next 6 months (Until March 2013) stay away from clerking any administrative board.
- Wait at least 2 months before requesting any userrights at WP:PERM.
Aims for the future:
- Try writing an article. You say you're from Invercargill - well we could do with an article on Turnbull Thompson Park. Why not start it at User:Anderson/Turnbull Thompson Park. This will teach you about looking for sources and writing on the encyclopedia, something I think every editor should have a bit of experience in, so you know what we're doing.
- Keep reverting those vandals. You don't need rollback for this, though it makes it easier. If you do this for 3 months, without issue, I will consider returning your rollback userright.
- See if the CVUA will have you as an instructor. Help training up new users in anti-vandalism. I woudl suggest you start with one user at a time. Once your first student has graduated, you can consider taking on more.
If you agree, these will be put at the top of your page to help you remember them. I don't have time to fully adopt you myself, but I will list myself as a point of contact, in case you have any problems or any editors have problems with you. I will be available to help you, but if you disrupt the encyclopedia, I will block you myself. Do let me know your thoughts. WormTT(talk) 09:28, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
- Anderson, I would like to second what Worm That Turned has said here. He's giving you some good advice. ~Adjwilley (talk) 13:55, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
- I also second this excellent suggestion by Worm. Please say that you will agree to it - I would hate to have to be the one to bock you. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 18:48, 6 September 2012 (UTC)

- I would be more then delighted to be a CVUA instructor, Knowing about different types of vandalism.--Anderson - What's up? 21:55, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
- I definitely don't want to be blocked. I am going to follow this plan.--Anderson - What's up? 21:55, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
- Anderson, you're getting some good advice here – I hope you heed it. I'll give you a bit more. Follow though on your commitments from now on – if you promise to do something, then do it. You squandered a golden opportunity when you retired your Scott Delaney account – Adjwilley had been kind enough to begin mentoring you and you threw that opportunity away. I know you thought people were being hard with you, and you were upset that Dennis Brown raised the WP:CIR issue, but your tendency to jump into areas of the project where you don't yet understand how things work was problematic then, and has continued to get you into trouble... So, before you do any edit in a place you're not completely familiar with, stop and think twice, and make sure you understand what you're doing, and if not, ask someone for an opinion or assistance. And I especially think you should take WTT's advice and spend some time creating or expanding some articles. Remember, we're all here (at least we should be) to build an encyclopedia. Mojoworker (talk) 02:38, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
- I'm really glad to hear you've decided to follow the plan of action, which I've added to the top of this page. I'll offer you some advice at the talk page of the article you're creating there too. WormTT(talk) 08:22, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

- Anderson, let's focus on the unblock request right now...we can talk about the articles you'd like to edit if/when you're unblocked. By the way, when you put the help template on your talk page, you'll want to transclude it, not substitute it. In other words, it will look like {{help}}, not {{SUBST|help}}. Alternatively, if you need to get someone's attention, instead of using the help template (which only draws editors who like to answer help requests), just link the editor you're trying to talk to, like this: User:Anderson. Also, I'm probably not going to be participating in the unblock procedure other than the comment I left at WP:AN. ~Adjwilley (talk) 02:37, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
- I have left a message on the ANI discussion. I am not opposed to you being unblocked based on your acceptance of the conditions. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:39, 2 July 2013 (UTC)

Conditions
Hi Anderson. Following the discussion at WP/AN concerning your unblock request, the community is prepared to give you another chance provided you firmly agree here to abide by these conditions for 6 months, after which we will look at your edits again with a view to lifting all or some of the restrictions. As soon as you have posted your unconditional agreement I will unblock your account.
- You may edit in article space. This includes adding correctly sourced 'new' content, article assessment, categorisation, wikification, fixing syntax errors, adding co-ordinates, infobox conversion. You may also take part in discussions on article talk pages of the articles you have edited. You may not however, revert any content without first discussing it on the article talk page or with the editor concerned. For this, you may also post discussions on the talk pages of the editors in question.
To be absolutely clear, this means:
- You may not warn, or place warning templates on the talk pages of other editors. If you feel a warning is necessary, please report the instance to an administrator. You should take care however, that you do not do this too often.
- You may not patrol new pages.
- You may not patrol for vandalism or revert any vandalism.
- You may not place maintenance tags on articles. If you feel a tag is necessary, please report the instance to an experienced editor in good standing.
- You may not take part in any meta areas; by this we mean any 'management' areas such as, for example (but not only), WP:PERM, WP:AfD etc. This may sound restrictive, but remember that we do not feel that you have enough knowledge to do this for the time being.
- You must avoid being encouraged to use editors' (or your own) talk pages for social banter, or an indiscriminate use of WikiLove or barnstars.
- Finally, you may not, under any circumstances, create any other user accounts or edit without logging in.
Do bear in mind however that these conditions are not negotiable and that any breaches of these conditions may lead to you being blocked again. You may also wish to consider joining an adoption programme again, but if you do, you must follow it through in a timely manner. If you feel that you are being unduly warned or harassed by other users, including admins, who are not familiar with these unblock conditions, rather than react, please ask for advice from an admin, such as for example Worm That Turned, Dennis Brown, GB fan, EdJohnston, Jayron32, King of Hearts, or Kudpung, who is familiar with your case, and we will take it from there. If there is anything you do not understand in these conditions, please do not hesitate to ask Kudpung, Dennis, or Worm for a further explanation.
Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 02:23, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
- I entirely agree to the conditions, Kudpung.

- @Anderson, File uploads would probably take place at Commons, which is separate from Wikipedia. I don't think your restrictions here would prevent you from uploading files there. (Do make sure that any files you're uploading are free though.) If you have any files you'd like to upload feel free to let me know, and I can kind of help you through the process. ~Adjwilley (talk) 15:51, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
(edit conflict)If there is anything you do not understand in these conditions, please do not hesitate to ask Kudpung, Dennis, or Worm for a further explanation. That said, as files are subject to complex copyright regulations which I believe are too difficult for you to understand just yet, my answer is that no, you may not upload files to Wikipedia. You are welcome to upload files to Commons, provided you also respect their rules. 15:56, 6 July 2013 (UTC)Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk)
What is with your continued perseverance to make Invercargill look like an International Airport?
It is merely a stopover point for fuel on VERY RARE occasions. There is no need to have it in the destinations list as THEY ARE NOT SERVICES OFFERED FROM INVERCARGILL. If they were regularly routed through IVC, then it does become a technical stopover (enroute for ZQN-Australia flights). PLEASE CONTACT ME SHOULD YOU WISH TO DISCUSS FURTHER "ANDERSON" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kiwifella123 (talk • contribs) 01:34, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
I have noticed that the Technical stopover section mostly covers everything to do with the stopovers. I was wrong about everything to do with the stopovers from the start. Sorry for the confusion.--Anderson - What's up? 21:22, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
Declined Adoption
Anderson, thanks for approaching me on my talk page about Adoption. Right now, I'm unfortunately going to have to decline adoption, as I have three adoptees and am trying to wrap up a grant for the WMF. If you'd like to add yourself to my waitlist or seek out a "mentor" adopter from the WP:Adopt-a-User list, which I recommend more strongly due to your edit history, I think those are both good options. NewYorkCity101
Hi, I saw that you tagged User:NewYorkCity101 as being banned back in August 2012. However, he was not listed as being banned, as far as I can tell, when youy tagged him, and I couldn't find any RFArs, ANI or AN threads that led to his banning, so I'll remove the tags for now. Do you have any idea when and why he was banned? — SamX‧☎‧✎‧S 13:31, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for mentioning that. Maybe because i saw his username listed there 2-3 years ago, but it was removed possibly in late 2011-early 2012 because he might not have been banned all that time. the ban tag was quite stale, and i couldn't take it down due to my current probation (unblock conditions). so i have to let other users do it and notify me.Anderson I'm Willing To Help 08:35, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. ESEAP Conference 2018
Hello Anderson,
I’m Irvin from PhilWiki Community, a member of the Communication Committee of the ESEAP Conference. ESEAP Conference 2018 is a regional conference for Wikimedia communities throughout the ESEAP region: ESEAP stands for East, Southeast Asia, and Pacific. Taking place in Bali, Indonesia on 5–6 May 2018, this is the first regional conference for these Wikimedia communities.
East and Southeast Asia and the Pacific are the most under-represented regions within the Wikimedia community. There is a significant number of Wikimedia contributors in our regions, yet we continue to struggle in establishing a well-managed community. This conference will bring participants from various ESEAP communities together in order to better understand the issues and to look for solutions. It also aims to connect people of the Wikimedia movement within ESEAP regions, to share ideas, and to build regional collaborations that are impossible to achieve through online communication.
We’ve got a lot of participation from several countries, but we’re lacking from your country. As we need more participants from your country, we believe that your contribution and participation would be a valuable asset to the success of this event. If you would like to participate in the conference, please do fill the form as soon as possible (by April 5, 2018) and we’ll inform you if you get selected for the conference.
Thank you and we hope to see you soon. --Filipinayzd 01:16, 31 March 2018 (UTC)
