Disambiguation link notification for September 19
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Anastacia discography, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page One More Chance (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! Materialscientist (talk) 22:52, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
Anastacia labels
[edit]Please do not change Anastacia's labels again. It is well established and sourced that she was signed to Epic Records via Daylight Records. Per guidelines, only the frontline label should be indicated, in this case Epic / Daylight. The way you changed up the label entry by putting in the parent company, Sony Music, does not meet guidelines (see infobox albums | label). I agree that Epic Records (US) was not the first company to market her albums in their territory, the US, but this doesn't change the fact that they were her labels that created (A/R) the albums / coordinated global marketing efforts / provided financing / maintained artist contract, etc. Imperatore (talk) 17:50, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
==Speedy deletion nomination of File:Anastacia dog.jpg==
A tag has been placed on File:Anastacia dog.jpg, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- The image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. (See section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Stefan2 (talk) 12:45, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Anastacia discography. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. O.Koslowski (talk) 16:05, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
- I can't recall personally, but available links indicated Not That Kind was released in 2000. I provided links to two of these. None said 1999. Yet you changed it again without providing a source anywhere. That's not the way to proceed. Now you will need to provide links and sources for any and all changes you make to Anastacia-related pages in the future. Gimmetoo (talk) 16:20, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
The link you provided on my talk page is to the Spanish wiki. Wikis are not WP:Reliable sources for information, because anyone can change them. Worse, this is a page you have edited, and it had 2000 before you edited it. So all it indicates is that you are putting this information elsewhere on the web, but it still doesn't have a source that the English wikipedia would treat as reliable. At least 2000 has "some" sort of sourcing, even if I don't consider amazon and allmusic particularly good sources.
So let me make this completely clear - do not restore your unsourced information again without prior discussion, ideally with me. I will tell you what sources are usable. I can assure you that there is no experienced editor here who would treat that es-wiki page as a usable source for your changes here. If you make this change again without discussion and agreement, you will simply be blocked from editing. Discuss first. Provide a source and get agreement. Anastacia discography
[edit]Refrain from inserting unsupported and unverifiable peak positions to Anastacia discography. You have done that twice within the same 24 hours, first one, second one. Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges.--Harout72 (talk) 17:26, 3 November 2012 (UTC)
Refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Anastacia discography. Your recent edit appears to be disruptive and has been reverted. If you disagree with anything, engage yourself in a discussion at the Talk:Anastacia discography. Be advised that continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges.--Harout72 (talk) 20:41, 3 November 2012 (UTC)
1) Do not insert 1st Studio Album, 2nd Studio Album etc. and also, do not insert recording dates such as Recorded 1993-2000 etc.. 2) LP record and Gramophone record are the same thing both referring to vinyls. 3) Do not Bold the titles, we don't do that on discography pages. Finally, you might want to take a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Discographies/style#Samples, to see how newer formatting of tables should be.--Harout72 (talk) 17:57, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Anastacia. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 04:08, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
The article If I Was Your Boyfriend has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable musical release. No evidence of charting. No evidence of full length professional reviews. No references.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Stuartyeates (talk) 02:16, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Not That Kind, you may be blocked from editing.
Will you please stop changing the release date for Not That Kind? Discogs is not a reliable source, and even if it were, only official releases should be taken into account, not promotional ones. SnapSnap 18:00, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from inserting certifications for Russia for the album Heavy Rotation as you have done in this edit. Russia's certifications should be left out as we don't have charts peaks for that market, see Wikipedia:WikiProject Discographies/style#Per-release (bullet 8). Also, don't add Swiss certification for Heavy Rotation the second time, we already have one. As for Sweden's certifications, I just inserted all available certifications from IFPI Sweden.--Harout72 (talk) 18:52, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
