[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. [1] MrOllie (talk) 03:42, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
- Sure!! Thank you for the guidance. Will follow in future. AnanyaBDas (talk) 12:04, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Dodda Basavana Gudi. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 23:29, 17 February 2024 (UTC)
- If I have to add additional information to an existing page, how can I write that? Am I allowed to add paragraphs or that is also forbidden? AnanyaBDas (talk) 09:01, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
- Adding information is allowed. Adding blatantly non-netural writing, or unsourced material, is not. MrOllie (talk) 12:32, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
- I got it. Although I have mentioned personal experience while adding a few informative lines earlier, I meant that I have insights on the topic and have written that information only. Removing existing information wasn't valid I suppose. I will keep that in mind. Thankyou for the review @MrOllie AnanyaBDas (talk) 03:15, 19 February 2024 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Biryani, you may be blocked from editing. This is not informative encyclopedic content. There is no source. Please read WP:WORDSTOWATCH before you make any further contributions. Poetic musings like this do not benefit readers or the encyclopedia. Thanks. Julietdeltalima (talk) 07:55, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Ertal72. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Indian Armed Forces, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Ertal72 (talk) 06:36, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, thank you for reviewing. I have found the information mentioned in various articles. The individual is still on active duty, as I mentioned. I was not sure if I was allowed to add external sources as references, hence did not add any citations for the piece. AnanyaBDas (talk) 06:45, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi! I can see that multiple users have already warned you against adding unsourced or poorly sourced content. You have made similar edits to Kodaikanal and also added duplicates/repetitions in Tourism in Tamil Nadu, which does not serve any purpose. Please make sure you take due care while editing and add only appropriate information with proper citations. Thanks! Magentic Manifestations (talk) 14:02, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
