Proposed deletion of National Mission on Power Electronics Technology
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article National Mission on Power Electronics Technology, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Short descriptions
[edit]Thank you for adding wp:short descriptions to articles that don't have them, but please read WP:HOWTOSD before you do any more work. In particular, try to make the SD a (very) terse distillation of the opening sentence of the article, remembering that that there is no need to repeat the title of the article in the SD. Although I don't agree with it, the current policy is that SDs should not exceed 40 characters. 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 11:46, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
Short descriptions on lists
[edit]Hi, thank you for your short description contributions. However, I noticed you added a short description to 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup broadcasting rights, where previously the short description was "none". WP:SDNONE specifies that articles with detailed titles that make the subject of the article quite clear should be given the short description of lower case "none". Additionally, WP:SDDUPLICATE states that the short description shouldn't repeat information already in the title, which was what you did in this case. Liu1126 (talk) 12:37, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi,
- Thanks for the explanation. I'm doing this because it was suggested by the app as part of the request to contribute. The suggestions in such cases should be omitted from edit recommendations. Anand Mallaya (talk) 12:41, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- Ignore the previous message. It's probably not feasible to filter them. So I will remember to follow the guidelines
