  • Hi, thanks for message. I deleted your article because
  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. It is now Wikipedia policy that biographical articles about living people must have independent verifiable references, or they will be deleted. You didn't actually give references as such, but there were five external links. The first was a document written by him, not independent, the second and fourth didn't mention him, the third didn't support any of the text, and the last was a sales site for his publication. Incidentally, there shouldn't be any urls in the text, only in the Reference or External links sections
  • It was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: Father of The Arabic Internet... is named the Father of Arabic domain names by his industry peer... built a wide experience in internet business... led the business development effort... using most advanced Cloud computing technology... world renowned team... invented some of the smallest electron sources...
  • You have an apparent conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that he is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest.

He may be notable, but you need to write a neutral article with proper references that actually verify the the text you are writing Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:09, 17 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Wael Nasr, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Alexf(talk) 16:54, 17 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I see the page has been deleted again. I looked at the last version. Note that you need a References section containing {{reflist}} to display your references. There is nothing to stop you having references in Arabic as long as they meet the other criteria. The admin who deleted this version obviously felt the tone was still promotional Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:12, 18 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Amronasr. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Wael Nasr".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Wael Nasr}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 20:04, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
