A tag has been placed on File:Sdfs sdf sdf dsf.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The licence you have used for this image is not correct (apart from the fact that you have uploaded it four times here and at Wikimedia Commons).

  • Did you take the photo yourself?
  • If not, where did you get the picture from?

If the licence isn't changed all versions of the image are likely to be deleted. NtheP (talk) 11:46, 24 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please add a meaningful description to this image rather than a random string of text. Wikipedia is not a file hosting service and images uploaded here should be with some intent of them being used in articles. A lack of information prevents this from happening. File source problem with File:Guruduwara Baba Sidhsar Sahib.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Guruduwara Baba Sidhsar Sahib.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Replaceable fair use File:Map of Ramgarh Sardaran.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Map of Ramgarh Sardaran.gif. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. SuperMarioMan 03:34, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop

[edit]

stop If you attempt to revert to that unacceptable version of Ramgarh sardaran again, I will block you. You cannot include your name/email address, the info is malformmated, it's full of unsourced and non-neutral claims. I'm trying to help clean it up, rather than nominate it for deletion. Hello, I'm MelbourneStar. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Ramgarh sardaran, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, —MelbourneStartalk 08:41, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for disruptive editing and attempting to assert ownership over an article. As I said, you cannot claim ownership over an article. That means you can't sign it, you can't include your email address, and you can't try to force it to have unsourced info, nonstandard formatting, and non-neutral statements. Perhaps you did not notice, but under every editing page, you agree that as soon as you edit a WP page, others can alter, delete, modify, and copy that information. That is how Wikipedia works. We appreciate that you've helped create and article that we did not have before, but we do need to rework it so that it meets minimum WP standards. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Qwyrxian (talk) 08:45, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
What the article really needs right now are reliable sources that discuss the town. At a minimum it would be nice to have a citation to the 2001 census; is it accessible online? Similarly, where did you get the more updated population info? Is any of the history actually written down in a reliable source (it doesn't have to be in English, though it does have to meet our reliable sources guidelines). I'm happy to have you continue to help to improve the article, but you have to be willing to follow our policies and guidelines while you edit. Qwyrxian (talk) 08:47, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Guruduwara Baba Sidhsar Sahib.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Guruduwara Baba Sidhsar Sahib.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Armbrust The Homunculus 14:55, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

April 2013

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for the same problems as last time. Amrit22cheema, please listen; if you do this again, I'm just going to block you indefinitely. You do not own that article, you cannot violate WP policies just because you like your version better, you must collaborate with other users.. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Qwyrxian (talk) 01:16, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for the same ownership and disruptive editing that got you blocked the last 2 times. I don't know if you just don't understand, or if you just don't want to listen, but you're editing is damaging Wikipedia and the only way I can get you to stop is to block you. If this finally makes you pay attention, feel free to discuss the issue here. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Qwyrxian (talk) 12:20, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
