The article Amed Çeko Jiyan has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Enfcer (talk) 23:16, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Amedcj. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Amedcj~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Speedy deletion nomination of Amed Çeko Jiyan
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Amed Çeko Jiyan, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. [edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself, at Amed Çeko Jiyan. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. I am looking for help to create a wiki page about myself!

Hi. I am Amed Çeko Jiyan, a Kurdish writer and translator. (Please take a look to these links: http://www.kurdilit.net/?p=2872&lang=en https://ku.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amed_%C3%87eko_Jiyan)
I want to create a wikipage about me on http://en.wikipedia.org (as that page on http://ku.wikipedia.org) Is it possible i create this page? Or is it "forbidden" for writers and artist to create wiki pages about theirselvs? Regards "Amedcj~enwiki (talk) 18:46, 13 November 2016 (UTC)"
- Please do not write about yourself, as you have a conflict of interest. See Wikipedia:Autobiography for more details. Pppery 19:07, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
- Writing an autobiography indeed is strongly discouraged because it's difficult to maintain a neutral point of view when writing about oneself. I'll also note that the English article that was deleted ant the Kurdish article both only cite a single reference, the kurdilit.net page you point to here, too. Firstly, one reference is not enough for a Wikipedia article. Secondly, kurdilit.net does not seem to meet Wikipedia's standards of reliability. Huon (talk) 19:19, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
- You say "One reference is may not enough for a Wikipedia article, but it says "All BLPs created after March 18, 2010 must have at least one source" here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons#Proposed_deletion_of_biographies_of_living_people
But how you say "kurdilit.net "doesn't seem to meet Wikipedia's standards of reliability"? Have you seen About page of KurdiLit.net? http://www.kurdilit.net/?page_id=2607&lang=en Amedcj~enwiki (talk) 19:32, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thanx to you all. I didn't know writers and artist can not create a wiki page about theirselvs. Sorry, you spent your time to answer me.
