Hi Amberglenscotchwhisky. I have noticed that you are drafting an article in your sandbox that appears to be promotional. I just wanted to let you know that advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Please ensure that you keep to a neutral point of view at all times when editing/creating articles. If you need any help, you can visit the Teahouse (a place where experienced editors help new editors, like yourself), as for help on the live chat or you can reply to me here by using the reply to template to notify me or on my talk page and I'll do my best to help. Thank you! LoudLizard (📞 | contribs | ✉) 20:53, 20 February 2016 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to List of whisky brands. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Amber Glen Scotch Whisky
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Amber Glen Scotch Whisky, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
