I'm not going to get into an edit war over this, but for your information, virtually everyone besides you lists the characters before the episodes. Check just about any TV show that's not heavily edited by you, and you'll see that I'm right. Like I said, I'm not going to edit war about this, so you can have it your way for now. I might eventually start a discussion about this, but I'm not sure enough people care about this to really even have a discussion. But I want you to know that you to know that your way is not "correct" as you said it was; I'm not saying my way is "correct" either because as far as I know there's no official guidelines saying to put characters first, just precedent. It is literally from MOS:TV to do it this way: "However, if said section contains plot or episode summaries, it should ideally be as high up the page as possible, since Wikipedia uses plot information as context for understanding the real world information to follow in the article." IOW, episode summaries go as high up in the page order as possible – this includes episode overview tables. These should be paired with, or included inside, the 'Plot', etc. section. If other articles are doing otherwise, they are incorrect. FTR, this is exactly how season articles are supposed to be done as well – e.g. Arrow (season 1): note, 'Episodes' before 'Cast' listings... Now you can argue about whether it should be this way or not, but it's been like this in MOS:TV for a long time. --IJBall (contribstalk) 19:45, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
Yup. Another way to look at it is that characters come from the episodes. Amaury19:49, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
Please actually read what you're quoting. "However, if said section contains plot or episode summaries, it should ideally be as high up the page as possible," The article in question, Raven's Home does not contain any plot or episode summaries under the episode tab because it's all contained at episode list article. Therefore, that does not apply here. However, the character list does contain some plot summaries, so the argument could be made that MOS suggests that they be listed above it. However at the end of the day, MOS is actually intentionally vague about where to list it saying "The basic order of these pages tends to follow: Lead, plot, cast lists, production, broadcast and home media, and reception, with any other miscellaneous sections coming afterward. If a section consisting of an article-spanning table (i.e. the "Episodes" section with {{Episode table}}) is being pushed down by the infobox creating a large amount of whitespace (example), then that section can be moved further down in the article." There is a ton of precedent to generally list cast before episodes, but there is no policy one way or another. You're either misreading the policies or intentionally using them out of context if you say otherwise. JDDJS (talk to mesee what I've done) 20:41, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
Premise and plot are essentially the same thing, in this case, so your argument is invalid, as usual. At least that part of it. Amaury20:46, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
Where did I say premise and plot are not the same thing? You're talking about something entirely different then I'm talking about, as usual. JDDJS (talk to mesee what I've done) 21:19, 4 April 2022 (UTC)

Monster High: The Movie

Also pinging MPFitz1968 and Magitroopa. In regards to persistent recent edits at List of Nickelodeon original films, I now just saw an ad for a Monster High "movie" – declaring "this fall" – so at least this isn't a hoax. However, the ad displays both "Nickelodeon" and "Paramount+", so I can't be 100% sure that this is a bona fide "Nickelodeon original film" or not. I think the only recent "source" for this is Nickalive, but that can't be used, and we need a better recent source (esp. concerning the "Nickelodeon" versus "Paramount+" aspect). Add: Also note, even Nickalive indicates that this has not yet started filming, so it's premature to add it to articles right now anyway. This is all just FYI. --IJBall (contribstalk) 13:41, 14 April 2022 (UTC)
