CBS and Warner Bros listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect CBS and Warner Bros. Since you had some involvement with the CBS and Warner Bros redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. KGirl (Wanna chat?) 01:54, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi there!
Hi! New to Wikipedia, just wondered if you might have any advice for getting images that have long been in the public domain to the Wikimedia commons? It says I must own the copyright to the image, yet, it is free to the public domain? How do I get around that? Thank you! (also a gardener and plant lover! ) :)

Sidebar language links

Please pass to the person who does sidebar language links. Sidebar language links, apparently two Q numbers for the same thing. I tried Wp:Wikidata, Q4, activated Merge gadget, then could not find it. I did not use Mergelitems because I did not understand what it would do. Any clarification?
Justification: I want to add ru:Список касимовских правителей to the left language links of List of Qasim Khans. From EN: currently linked to en,tr,ur. When add error message=already uses Q4434287 which is hu,lv,ru,tt From Ru: currently linked to ru,hu,lv,tt. When add error message=already uses Q10956594 which is en,tr,ur To the extent that I can read the languages they are all list of Qasim khans.Benjamin Trovato (talk) 21:04, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Benjamin Trovato: You may get a faster answer at Wikidata. --Izno (talk) 23:01, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Perfect Pear, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Applejack (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

New Contributor - Payson High School (Az)
Good afternoon,
I'm hoping that you can help.
In full disclosure, I am an employee of Payson High School - however, I am not being paid for contributions or edits. Rather, I am a teacher that got injured over the summer and I am bored out of my mind. When looking at the high schools that I attended (Carl Sandburg High School and Montini Catholic High School) I felt like Payson High School's (my current employer) website looked pretty pathetic. I wanted to add history, and found that on the school's website.
I found other information on the district, AIA, and solar company websites. I have all of the hyperlinks to be able to cite sources, however I am not sure how to make a citation.
Further, this warning appears on the screen:
This article has multiple issues. Please help improve it or discuss these issues on the talk page. (Learn how and when to remove these template messages) A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. (July 2018) The neutrality of this article is disputed. (July 2018) This article contains content that is written like an advertisement. (July 2018) This article does not cite any sources. (July 2018)
I do not wish to have an advertisement, nor language that would be indicative of one - however, I do not see where the error is with the current wording.
As previously stated towards the top of the email, I have hyperlinks, but if you could send an outline or something to make citations that would be great.
I do have a close connection to the subject, however I am not trying to write as if this is a story about me or my company. I would like for the article to be neutral. Is it possible to identify specific sections that need to be removed or reworked so that this is no longer an issue?
Thanks so much! — Preceding unsigned comment added by DrewFiala (talk • contribs) 19:30, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
- @DrewFiala: Hey and thanks for editing! One thing you need to make sure to do is to add references to your additions. And also, things like having Wi-Fi or Chromebooks at the school isn't encyclopedic, and overall the article doesn't have a very encyclopedic tone. I can help go over the tone after you cite sources for the additions. --AmaryllisGardener talk 23:56, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

About the article Aristotelis Zervoudis
Hello Amaryllis,
I was given your contact name by your colleagues to advise me. There is a short biography for Aristotelis Zervoudis for which I would like to modify some personal data. Specifically, I would like to add the title (Cavaliere) in front of the full name (source is already included in the article as the title was received officially by the President of Italy) and the birth date (1964). Although I tried to add both several times the changes were reverted as 'no proper source'. Could you please advise how to make these modifications? Thanks, Aristotelis Aris2018 (talk) 09:04, 5 October 2018 (UTC)

Removal of unnecessary information shared
Hello. We would like to ask for your help to not publish the two information that I have removed just now as shown below. These information will bring bad reputation to our company, thus we would really like to ask for your kind help to help us to remove the information.
Paragraphs that we wish to be deleted from the page.
In 2013, DXN’s office in Kerala, India was raided by the crime branch of the Kerala Economic Offences Wing (EOW) for alleged violations of the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978. According to the crime branch, the company was running a money-chain Ponzi scheme. Documents and goods valued at 11.2 million Rupees were seized during the raid.[1]
In May 2015, subsequent to Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) inspection activities. a recall notice was issued in Canada for DXN brand instant coffees because the products contained milk which had not been declared on the product ingredient label. As such, the products posed a potential risk to consumers with milk allergies.[2]
Your effort is much appreciated.
Thank You.

Incorrect removal of an entry
Dear AmarillisGardener, A wiki entry in my name that enlarges the stub now there was actually prepared by an experienced editor, Mark Daly, and I only made a few very minor changes to correct a few facts and add a few useful links. So I feel it was removed incorrectly, and wonder how to get it back. I've contacted Mark on this as well. Charles Fadley — Preceding unsigned comment added by Csfadley (talk • contribs) 17:36, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
- Mark Daly, who appears to have edited the Charles Fadley article under the User name Richard C Craft, has been asked on the Craft Talk page if this is a COI or PAID situation. No reply yet. I am not the editor who reverted all of what Craft and Fadley added to the article but I agree with the reversion. Basically, the content was a dump of Fadley's CV. I also expressed concern at Craft's Talk about whether that person was editing under more than one User name, as Craft came into existence on 11/26, the same day the massive additions were made to the Fadley article. Sui juris redirects to Sui iuris
I am User:Suijur. Please consider viewing User:Suijur/Sui juris and its talk page. They are plainly self-explanatory. I am autodidact and find the article Sui iuris totally absurd (to be kind). (especially since your expertise is what I request. I, novice, plead mercy in your critique and teaching, and pray that one day my user page will be as clean and neat as yours. Grammar
Upon viewing your Grammar tab, I've been caught! Using two spaces after a sentence stop. I would learn the art of making those little boxes should someone show me. Suijur (talk) 04:02, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
- @Suijur: Well no worries, the number of spaces after a full stop is purely a matter of preference! As far as making userboxes go, it's quite simple once you get the hang of it. Take User:AmaryllisGardener/ubx/Tails for example. It uses Template:Userbox and contains color parameters and one single "info" and "id" parameter. The info parameter changes what the main text says, while the "id" parameter changes what the big letters say. --AmaryllisGardener talk 04:27, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
Hello,
I'm hoping you can help me. I wanted to move the "Omaha-Council Bluffs metropolitan area" page to a new page called "Omaha metropolitan area". This is consistent with other similar articles.
However, the "Omaha metropolitan area" page already exists as a redirect page for the original article I'm trying to move. It should be the reverse: "Omaha-Council Bluffs metropolitan area" should redirect to "Omaha metropolitan area" and all of the info from the former should be moved to the latter. It won't allow me to make this change since the redirect page already exists.
Can you help me? I don't know if it means the redirect page has to be deleted in order to have a new page with the same title.
I don't even know if you are an administrator, but you were suggested as an experienced editor who may be able to help. I couldn't find any means of contacting an administrator.
Thanks so much--I'm fairly new to editing and still learning.

Please participate to the talk pages consultation
Hello
Our team at the Wikimedia Foundation is working on a project to improve the ease-of-use and productivity of wiki talk pages. As a Teahouse host, I can imagine you’ve run into challenges explaining talk pages to first-time participants.
We want all contributors to be able to talk to each other on the wikis – to ask questions, to resolve differences, to organize projects and to make decisions. Communication is essential for the depth and quality of our content, and the health of our communities. We're currently leading a global consultation on how to improve talk pages, and we're looking for people that can report on their experiences using (or helping other people to use) wiki talk pages. We'd like to invite you to participate in the consultation, and invite new users to join too.
We thank you in advance for your participation and your help.
