If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 2far2jump requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. - MrX 12:13, 1 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Information icon Hello, Alystarhynes. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you.Deb (talk) 15:19, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Request reason:

I understand why I was blocked and will make sure to not make the same mistake again. I will cite a good number of highly trusted and reputable sources in any edits I make to ensure notoriety requirements are fully met. Alystarhynes (talk) 01:37, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

As you don't indicate an edit you wish to make, there is no need to remove the block, as blocks only prevent editing. Be aware of WP:COI and WP:PAID. You may request unblock when you have an edit you want to make. I will also advise you that asking others to edit for you will get those editors blocked as sock puppets of you. 331dot (talk) 19:19, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I've placed this at the bottom for proper discussion flow. Please place new posts below. We don't have "notoriety" requirements, we have notability guidelines; "notoriety" has a more negative connotation. I'm curious as to why you are requesting to be unblocked now, after over 8 years. Do you still intend to edit about yourself and your musical group? 331dot (talk) 07:47, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Because I might want to make an edit. I feel it's a bit easier doing it myself than getting someone else to do it for me but maybe that's a better way. I manage a music artist who has been interviewed and performed live on mainstream news channels, has been written about in Billboard and Clash magazine and also acted in a popular TV series. She also has major sync placements by huge brands and another TV series in Canada. I feel with those accolades plus the ones I've left out, notability guidelines should be met. The issue is maybe since I manage her that's deemed as too much of a close relationship. I do not intend to make any pages I create feel spammy or give excessive praise. I intend them to be neutral and factual while citing only the most credible sources.

It's actually so funny how difficult admins on here like to be. It's giving sitting in a basement getting a kick out of being petty vibes. I will find a way to get Wikipidia pages created no matter how much you try to stop me. I guess now you're probably going to hunt the entirety of this site and guess which new pages created are ones I've had influence in and then delete those out of spite lol.

Since you intend to further evade your block, and have no intention of acting in good faith, there is nothing else to discuss here. 331dot (talk) 19:52, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I completely intend to act in good faith. It is you who appears not to want to act in good faith. I have stated the notability of the entity I was going to make an edit for and you declined the block removal. What logical reason is there for that? Alystarhynes (talk) 20:08, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You aren't acting in good faith. You said "I will find a way to get Wikipedia pages created no matter how much you try to stop me". That's not good faith. You've clearly been evading for the last 8 years, too, that's not in good faith, either. Either you are willing to abide by our policies or you aren't. You also proceed to insult me with stereotypes("sitting in a basement"). That's not good faith. I am a grown adult with a successful career and family. You didn't even answer my question("do you intend to edit about yourself or your musical group"). So what's the reason to unblock you again? 331dot (talk) 20:16, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I was providing those remarks from a defensive standpoint due to feeling like I was being unreasonably blacklisted. I haven't been evading editing for 8 years. This is the first time that I remember that I have tried to get this ban listed and intended to create an entry / page. I do apologize for hostility in my previous remarks. I intend to abide by policies fully, I'm just not very familiar with the culture around this platform so it's new to me. I didn't realise how high the quality control on here is. Alslo, I thought I had answered the question. No, It's not myself or a musical group I intend to write about. It is a solo artist / singer I intend to write about. If unblocked, I will just need to familiarise myself with policies and best practices and make sure that grammar is correct. They are the only potential issues i feel might occur but then again I guess that's what the sandbox is for prior to publishing live. Alystarhynes (talk) 20:54, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it would be unfair to you for me to review another request by you, so you should make another for someone else to review. 331dot (talk) 21:02, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I understand why I was previously blocked. I intend moving forward to not write about myself or anyone I am closely affiliated with. I intend to act in good faith and follow best practices. I intend to create a page for a singer who has been on mainstream news and acted in popular TV series. They have also been written about in Clash Magazine and Billboard. I intend to cite these sources as well as others where necessary. Alystarhynes (talk) 21:21, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please answer my question below in a fresh unblock request. Thanks, HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 21:09, 2 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What is the name of the singer, and would you be able to link to the sources you have in mind? Thanks, HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 03:29, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
