Copyright problem: Richard O'Brien (author)

We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Richard O'Brien (author), but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://www.amazon.com/Richard-OBrien/e/B000APA53W/, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. [edit]It is not enough to assert permission to use copyright material: for one thing, we have no way to know that you are who you say; for another, release to Wikipedia involves more than just permission to reproduce - under the CC-BY-SA license, it gives permission to anyone to copy, modify, and use for any purpose, and the copyright owner has to understand and agree to that. So it is essential to follow the steps explained in the copyright warning notice above.
In any case, material from a personal or company website is often unsuitable, because of its promotional tone, for an encyclopedia article, which requires a neutral point of view. There is good advice at WP:Your first article; note in particular the requirement to establish notability, which is not a matter of opinion but needs to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject."
