Player statistics

[edit]

The consensus for player statistics on team pages is not to update them daily, because they are updated after Sunday's game and Wikipedia is not supposed to be up-to-the-minute accurate regarding the player statistics. In addition, stop using multiple IPs, because that is forbidden when you have an account. – Sabbatino (talk) 16:47, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

If I understand it correctly, you keep a local copy of the page which you update and paste to the WP page (making all my work useless, but this is secondary). However, your copy has a typo in the qualification part; one of the Q's renders as Q'. I have already corrected it twice but you keep overwriting it. Please correct your local copy.--Ymblanter (talk) 11:44, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Norway national football team. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please check if the stats have already been updated, if you don't bother to do that, as you did on this article, you'll make the numbers incorrect. If you can't be bothered to see if it's been done already, then don't bother at all. TylerBurden (talk) 20:32, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that the person that had updated the stats had not changed the as of section, so I assume you figured it had not been updated because of that. It's an understandable mistake, but check the edit history of the article just to be safe otherwise the numbers get bungled. TylerBurden (talk) 20:48, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rowspanning in infoboxes

[edit]

Information icon I noticed that you updated List of international goals scored by Aleksandar Mitrović, but you did so incorrectly. Rowspanning should only occur when goals are scored in the exact same match, as made clear at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players. You rowspanned both the opponent and the competition when you added Mitrović's goal from 12 June 2022. In the future, please do not rowspan anything unless it only occurred in the exact same match, not if it was against the same opponent, in the same stadium, or in the same competition as the previous goal. I appreciate your efforts to update the stats. In the future, though, please do so correctly. Have a good one! Anwegmann (talk) 21:30, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrolled

[edit]

Hi Alibene567, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.

Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! – Joe (talk) 08:53, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

NFL updates

[edit]

We appreciate the effort you're putting into adding all the NFL game data on the team season pages, but you need to be more careful about the data you're actually adding. I regularly see spelling mistakes from you, and you often misidentify the top receivers. Admittedly, the NFL game books don't make it easy, but you have to remember they put the players with the most receptions at the top of the list, not the player with the most yards, which is what we're after. Please be more attentive in the future. – PeeJay 12:16, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. I noticed that you updated the St. Pauli article but not the Union Berlin one. It would be more helpful and valuable to update the results of all teams. EpicAdventurer (talk) 21:31, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you do this? Articles from all teams should be updated, not just those that suit us. What is happening in this encyclopedia has become absurd. EpicAdventurer (talk) 23:12, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
EpicAdventurer, what's stopping you to update the articles yourself? Wikipedia editors are all volunteers, who have no obligation to edit articles. Pelmeen10 (talk) 17:52, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why are all sports updated regularly except the most popular sport in the universe? What is happening is truly shameful. EpicAdventurer (talk) 16:09, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
