Hi Alfshire - congrats on the recently added references which, in my view, satisfy WP:COMPOSER. I note the BLP Notability tag I placed there has now been removed by Lacypaperclip, but given the article was declined by Onel5969 twice, (Dec 24, '15, and again on Jan 7, 2016), and given also that s/he is (by edit count) 20 times more experienced than me, I feel s/he should have final say in whether or not Glen Gabriel now meets the necessary standards. Thanks Mark, I took your advice when creating a new article for opera singer Jeffrey Lawton, I think it is one of my better articles as a result. Alfshire (talk) 17:37, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wonderfully put together article - with a broad reach of references and a clear description of the subject :)

Excellent job on Jeffrey Lawton Alfshire - and now you're getting in the swing of things - I thought you might like to pop over to the Øyvind Mæland (Articles for Deletion) page - so you can see how tough the rules are - even for such a wonderful composer as he . I archived your stuff by the way - good housekeeping. MarkDask 09:31, 29 November 2017 (UTC) 00:53, 4 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your kind encouragement, something I have learned over time is to temper enthusiasm and check out articles written by the experts like yourself. I'll have a look at Øyvind Mæland and do some research on him. Alfshire (talk) 08:02, 4 December 2017 (UTC).[reply]

Thanks for creating Roberto Danova, Alfshire!

Wikipedia editor Markdask just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

There are too many names listed in the first section - better to list those you can reference in your "Discography" section and delete the rest in favour of the phrase "and others". It's about readability. As it it is too taxing on the eyes. Better to reduce that list :)

Thanks, I did think there were too many names myself, but I wanted to show the scope of the subjects work world wide. Some of the artists mentioned are very popular in their own countries and since Wikipedia covers the globe I thought I'd include them in the main section. You are right though readability is the most important aspect and I'll remove some to make it clearer. One mistake I think I made is not to create a table for the discography, but having initially entered all the text and references in standard format it was just too big a task to amend it all to tables. Maybe a lesson learned for the future. Your help and advice is much appreciated. Alfshire (talk) 08:06, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited David Fleeshman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dodger. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
