If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Alexrstone photo gallery requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I'm sorry, but Wikipedia isn't a personal web hosting service. It's an encyclopedia, for reference articles on topics of note. There are other sites that are suited for presentation of photos. Largoplazo (talk) 00:00, 2 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed, by the way, that you ask others not to alter your photos in any way, yet, as a condition of posting them here, you already agreed to license them for use here under terms that include the right to alter them. Largoplazo (talk) 00:06, 2 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free image use

[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload files. However, it appears that one or more of the files you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically List of Heisman Trophy winners, may fail our non-free policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted file of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- 05:07, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

If you go to add an image to an article and you see a hidden note which says " Do NOT place a non-free image here, per WP:NFLISTS", then pretty much the worst thing you can do is to remove the note and add a non-free image. It's OK to make mistakes and non-free content use can be tricky, but that note was added by someone for a reason and simply ignoring it is not going to install confidence in others that you have the competence needed to edit Wikipedia. Please try to be careful when adding images to article and just don't assume it's OK to do so. If you see a note like this and don't understand its meaning, ask for help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions or the Wikipedia Teahouse. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:12, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
