Questions on Ukrainian Football

Moved to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Ukraine/Ukrainian Football

Hi. Do you have any references or sources for this article? --BoguslavM 00:17, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

Where did you get table of goalscorers? I found two mistakes there (both are fixed now): not Bohdanets, but Baranets; Oleksiy Yakymenko scored three goals but one of them is own goal. Maybe we shold remove him from the table?--Ahonc (Talk) 22:09, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

From the PFL site. Kind of digged it up myself. Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 02:01, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of EpiCentre K

A tag has been placed on EpiCentre K, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you.    SIS  13:16, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Hang on notices

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added a {{hangon}} template to an article. In order for an administrator to evaluate whether the article should be speedy deleted or not, we request that you provide reasoning, on the article's talk page, for why it should remain. Thank you. Notability of Polonia Cernăuţi

A tag has been placed on Polonia Cernăuţi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. otherlleft (talk) 11:35, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Ukrainophobia

I have nominated Ukrainophobia, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ukrainophobia. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Nationality of Oleg Iachtchouk

I added again the Ukrainian flag, but your information is correct, valid and needs to be added, so I left the Belgian flag there also. But since the dual citizenship is recognized by Belgium (and many other nations), we have to recognize that he is a Ukrainian/Belgian according to many and not just a Belgian. Hope you don't mind. How did you fix this for other Ukrainians? --Pelotastalk 10:26, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
