About your warning to 170.231.85.108

[edit]

Hey Alecnotalex! I'm not sure what the purpose of your warning was considering that this user already received two final warnings and has been reported at ANI. I'm not a fan of their edits either, but piling warnings up on them like that is not making them any more likely to behave. Please keep in mind that uw- templates are intended as a way to inform users of the policies or guidelines that they may be violating, not as a way to punish or humiliate them. Let me know if you have any questions! TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 02:43, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

My bad, I totally made that warning without looking at the talk page first. I was just under the impression that they'd need to be warned before they could be reported, so I thought I'd make the warning so that someone else could report them later on if they wanted to. Did not realize they'd already been heavily warned and already been reported. I won't do that in the future. Alecnotalex (talk) 17:00, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, mistakes happen! I'd also highly recommend that you specify which article you've reverted their edits on, instead of a vague "all of your edits", which is neither helpful to them nor a blocking admin. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 18:14, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:44, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Trouted

[edit]

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

You have been TROUTED for "being from Maine" by Akyyka (talk) 21:21, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I knew the day would come that I'd take a fish to the dome for repping the 207... Alecnotalex (talk) 23:11, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Off-topic, but I created an article draft and submitted it for publication at Draft: Noble Middle School, and I'd love to get your feedback. Feel free to add any information you'd like. It's based off of the information from Noble High School (Maine). Akyyka (talk) 02:56, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like it's not going to pass notability. However, the MSAD 60 article could use a lot of work and much of what you have in that draft could be ported over to it. Alecnotalex (talk) 02:03, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If I can't find books or find a way to access the Press Herald archives then I'll pursue that route. Akyyka (talk) 02:34, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I updated most if not all of the information on MSAD60. I will further detail the elementary schools on 15 December 2023. Akyyka (talk) 05:09, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
