You deleted a page on Multitude Media. While i acknowledge all pages should be bias free, i wrote it as objectively as i thought necessary, and i believe it is required insofar as i'm starting out and it will be a good reference for people looking my company up. Re. Deletion of Multitude Media page

Apologies - think i put my first message in the wrong place! I'm messaging, as above, on the deleted Multitude Media page. Hi there. Unfortunately, as the page was written, it read as a clear and blatant advertisement (even if this is not what you intended), and thus meets our criteria for speedy deletion and was deleted. New articles must be written about notable subjects, and must be verifiable, or backed up by reliable sources. They must also be written from a neutral point of view.
Your article did not meet our spam policy, that prohibits articles written like advertisements. You can re-create the article, under the same title, so long as you follow the NPOV policy. Specifically, this means that a passage that looks like it could be used on an 'About Us' page is inappropriate - you must use an encyclopaedic tone. To help with your article, I suggest you have a read of the above policies - there's quite a lot, but they'll make sure your article doesn't get deleted.
Also bear in mind that it is generally not a good idea to write about a company or organisation you work for. While it is not forbidden, an important company will have an article created for it by someone else. Pay careful attention to our conflict of interest guideline, that advises on editing a subject you are involved with.

Hi. If the page is still appearing in Google results, Google must have cached the page, and it will remain there until Google crawls the page again, which usually takes a few weeks. Until then, there's nothing that we can do. Sorry. Ale_Jrbtalk 15:50, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Your article was deleted because it was written like an advertisement for a product or company - articles of this type are prohibited by our SPAM policy that prevents advertising on Wikipedia, and they will be speedily deleted. Articles must be written using an encyclopaedic tone. They must be notable, and information must be verifiable, and backed up by reliable sources.
Also, please be aware of our conflict of interest guideline, that advises against creating or editing articles about subjects you are related to (such as your family, or your employer) as it is difficult to write from a neutral point of view. Hi, I and my fellow editors are facing a deadlock on a issue of removing/toning down few lines on 'Allegations of Human Rights violation against the Indian Army' under 'criticism of the operation' section in Operation Blue Star article, concerns include WP:NPOV, WP:SOAP & WP:V, the summary of dispute can be found at [1]. DistrictFile

Hi, my entry for DistrictFile was delete and I'm not sure why as it was an informational addition to Wikipedia. There was not the slightest hint of advertising which is what really surprised me. People ask about it so I thought in the spirit of what Wikipedia does it would be nice to inform objectively. Let me know what needs to be done please.

Regarding DistrictFile. The notable point of DistrictFile was clear to me - the only social networking site focused on people in politics, government, policy and think tanks - but maybe I should have made it clearer in my definition. I could go ahead and add it. Would that be the right protocol?
