Your submission at Articles for creation: sandbox (November 20)
[edit] Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by DoubleGrazing was:
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to User:Alannah5121/sandbox and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
- If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
- If you need any assistance, or have experienced any untoward behavior associated with this submission, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk, on the reviewer's talk page or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help from experienced editors.
- Hi, I only realised afterwards that you're a fairly new editor, so I thought it might help if I explain myself. :) The reason I declined your draft is that this subject already exists in the main article space, at Richard Moynan. If you wish to add more content to that article, you can do so by editing it directly; no need to get your edits reviewed/approved by anyone (unless, that is, you have a conflict of interest or some restriction on main space editing, but I don't think either of those applies here). In fact, it's not just that you don't need to get your edits reviewed; it's that the AfC review process (to which you had submitted your draft) is for new article creation only, and submissions intended to expand on already existing articles will inevitably be always declined, like what happened here. Hope this helps to clarify the matter. Best Regards, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:09, 20 November 2022 (UTC)

- Thank you:) I didn't mean to submit it, I was worried my account would get deleted because of the mistake, thank you for your help! Alannah5121 (talk) 14:34, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
- What mistake is that? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:43, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
- Requesting for my draft to be reviewed Alannah5121 (talk) 14:46, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
- Good heavens, if one got blocked for making a mistake, none of us would be here! I certainly make mistakes on a daily basis! :) And that wasn't even a mistake, it was at best a little mishap.
- No, you wouldn't get blocked unless you're intentionally vandalising, or persistently doing silly things against all the advice and warnings. Even then, you would be given plenty of opportunity to mend your ways. (Of course, you can get blocked instantly, too, if you do something illegal or grossly offensive etc., but in that case your block certainly won't come as any sort of a surprise to you!)
- No need to worry. Enjoy your editing, and if there's anything I can be of assistance with, don't hesitate to ping me or drop by my talk page. Best, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:23, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
