DREAM
If you wanna have a separate template i guess its fine with me but it should be listed under K-1 events as well, like Template:2007 K-1 Events with Hero's, its their mma branch but still the same promotion. just like on their official site [1]. Marty Rockatansky (talk) 06:43, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- yeah i think it should be all in one. or if you want you can put this up on discussion to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Mixed martial arts. Marty Rockatansky (talk) 08:40, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Ralek Gracie
Ralek's nationality is not Brazilian. He was born in the U.S. Steve406sbc (talk) 01:48, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I just wanted to mention it to you just in case you knew something that I didn't. I know that he is obviously of Brazilian decent, and perhaps by ethnicity, but according to the history of his father, and the date he moved to the United States, I'm fairly certain that Ralek was born in the United States, and is therefore American in nationality. James Thompson
I noticed your defense of this article lately. Nothing in particular to add, but good job. It's been vandalized a lot in the wake of the Kimbo fight. MezzoMezzo (talk) 15:51, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

RE: Deletion?
Wow, one win in the UFC makes a person notable these days? Jeez! I believe speedy deletion would be the proper way to deal with this in this case. There is absolutly no information on Marcelo Mello, and yet he has an article. Definitely speedy. I'll take care of any articles you tag for speedy. Regards, –LAX 00:00, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
- I've deleted all but one, Joao Roque. –LAX 00:36, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
- No problem! It's all in a days a work in the life of an admin. ;) –LAX 00:57, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
July 2008
Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thank you. Ryan Delaney talk 03:26, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. As it happens, I think those articles are not clear speedies, so you are right to either go with PROD or take them to AFD. Cheers, --Ryan Delaney talk 03:31, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
Notable fighters
sorry i didn't fully explained why I removed their names...
i removed them because a 'notable' fighter has to prove or conquer something of note
being a veteran of an organization does not seem notable enough neither is holding a title in a small organization
but holding a title in a big organization, winning a tournament or being a former title holder is notable...
the link has all title/former title holders and tournament winners
and since DREAM is almost as big of an organization as the UFC, the fighters on the notability list should have more reasonable notability...
when DREAM gets bigger, i will edit the DREAM Notable Fighter list and set it up how the UFC notable fighter list is...
hope my edits helped out...

DREAM.5
I understand what you're saying but the policy with MMA event related articles has been to keep it minimalistic and only convey the most relivant information (the results). Events that have previously been formatted with full descriptions have all been changed to reflect the format I used - you can continue to do it your way, although it will be changed by someone else in order to fit the expected format of MMA event results. Regards DuO (talk) 08:13, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- Just a further note - you can have the freedom to format the article however you wish, I'm not going to interfere with the formatting of DREAM.5 any more. Regards DuO (talk) 08:15, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- The format I was going from was from the project's MMA Event Pages Format. Yes ofc no hard feelings, it was never anything personal on either side. Regards DuO (talk) 08:29, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
TGSM
I'm not sure what your comment regarding "beating you" was all about, but I'm hardly interested in some sort of competition. When I wrote my reply, your post wasn't in place, so I have no idea how it happened. Drmargi (talk) 14:40, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- Mea culpa! I thought you were serious. You, Halstead and I must have all posted more or less simultaneouslY! Drmargi (talk) 14:47, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
List of champions
I reworded it. As every other event listed was and actual tournament. And UFC 41 itself was not a tournament. Take a look, I think it is something that can easily be agreed uponSwampfire (talk) 18:17, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- Yes other than the fact. That I believe (not a tournament) needs to be there under UFC 41. As all the rest of the events were actual tournaments. But UFC 41 was not a tournament, it just contained the final fight. As the UFC had already had to discontinue tournament style events. To conform to fighting commision standards.Swampfire (talk) 18:32, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- Changed "end of" to "final of a"Swampfire (talk) 18:39, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- I just thought of a better wording. Going to add it now. I think it is perfect. Swampfire (talk) 18:41, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

New proposal
Just letting you know, you may be interested in giving your input on the discussion page of a new proposal, Wikipedia:Videos. Sebwite (talk) 18:17, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
(copied from my talk page) Just wondering what measures you've taken to get attention to the proposal? I don't really know how one usually goes about it, but do you think Wikipedia:Village pump (policy) would be a good place to mention it to get feedback and get the ball rolling? Great initiative BTW :) --aktsu (t / c) 19:38, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
- I have made quiet a few proposals myself, and I have come across exactly the same question when this happens. In this case, as you know, I contacted those who previously contacted me regarding the issue that sparked the proposal, which included you.
- I have been planning for some time to write an essay on Getting attention for new pages, and in fact, I think I will start it now. Sebwite (talk) 23:24, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
UFC Event articles
Thank-you for your attempts to calm the situation. I apologise for being confrontational as I have been in the middle of such discussions and should have known better. --Nate1481(t/c) 11:17, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
UFC 14/15
Check out the info I posted in the discussion. I think all page names after 6 should be changed to reflect what UFC calls them. Check it out and see what you thinkSwampfire (talk) 09:14, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me.Swampfire (talk) 20:54, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
Received, thanks, and very helpful. You name's fine, given I used to live near a village in Yorkshire called Fangfoss! --Rodhullandemu 22:46, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
