abo-teni articles
[edit]Thanks for the note about Abo-Teni and assosiated articles, and well done for finding the diary by the nut who invented them.
I'm on a bit of a wiki-break at the moment, very busy with another project, but I suggest that if you submit those articles to AfD, citing diary quotes like....
"Steadfast history fanatics should also recognize that Tiberius Lowang was not in any factual documents or chronicles of any kind. His genesis can be traced back to the fateful year of 2001"
....I'm sure they'll be quickly toasted. If I'm around, I'll certainly vote to toast them. TheMadBaron 03:44, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- Never mind, I've done it myself. One thing troubles me, though.... the Donyi-Polo religion apparently exists.... [1] TheMadBaron 17:29, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
Recent edit to Secretary at War
[edit]Thank you for your recent edit to Secretary at War. Your edit included one or more links to the page British, which is a disambiguation page. This type of page is intended to direct users to more specific topics. Ordinarily we try to avoid creating links to disambiguation pages, since it is preferable to link directly to the specific topic relevant to the context. You can help Wikipedia by revising the links you added to Secretary at War to refer directly to the most relevant topic. Nothing to see here
[edit]In fact, I can't tell you what happened. I don't believe a certain former lawyer would approve of me talking about why I can't talk about it, other than that I shouldn't talk about it here. I'm sure a smart guy such as yourself could look at my contributions and piece it all together. Looking at the contributions of other who were involved may also prove fruitful. Also, on a COMPLETELY UNRELATED NOTE, you should really check out this ArbCom decision and its followup.Chris Croy 02:00, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Why did you revert the inclusion that its shape is a hexagram? --Ludvikus 13:23, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Notability of Ernst Snapper
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Ernst Snapper, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Ernst Snapper seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Ernst Snapper, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Math notation style
[edit]Hello. Please notice my recent edits to Poincaré space. At least on the browser I'm using, there's a difference between the following:
- n-kth cohomology group
- (n − k)th cohomology group
- A minus sign is not just a hyphen.
- Variables (but not digits and not punctuation) are italicized.
- A space precedes and follows the minus sign.
(Of course, in TeX one does not worry about such things since the software takes care of it, but often on Wikipedia TeX looks good only when "displayed" and not when "inline".)
It's all covered in Wikipedia:Manual of Style (mathematics). Michael Hardy (talk) 06:53, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
