Speedy deletion nomination of Carl reese (safety cards)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Carl reese (safety cards) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Shirt58 (talk) 09:59, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Chris Brady (Safety Cards)
[edit]Hello Airlinegeek797,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Chris Brady (Safety Cards) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Notability
[edit]Please review our standards for notability, which determines whether a subject is appropriate for an article on Wikipedia. This generally requires sustained in-depth coverage in reliable published sources, usually things like newspapers, magazines and books, and excluding things like official websites or social media. If a subject has not yet received this type of published coverage, then it is likely too soon for it to have its own article on Wikipedia. GMGtalk 10:15, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
- Also, if you have questions, you should stop by The Teahouse, which is our dedicated forum for newer users to seek advice and assistance. Wikipedia can have a lot of complicated rules that takes a little while to learn, so it's often a good place to keep in mind. GMGtalk 10:38, 21 March 2018 (UTC)

Safety card collectors
[edit]Hi. Can you please just refrain from creating any more articles about safety card collectors? Short articles with little information tend to either get tagged for deletion (per above) or left unmaintained for years. These people are all name-checked in the existing article Aircraft safety card, it may be best to just leave it at that for now. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 10:54, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
