Image copyright problem with Image:Towamencin name.jpeg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Towamencin name.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 10:50, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Towamencin Township Strategic Plan
[edit]Towamencin Township Strategic Plan, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Towamencin Township Strategic Plan satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). [edit]With regard to your comments on User:Leebo: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. -Toon05 02:04, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
This is the place to file a brief report on my conduct if you feel it has been abusive. Leebo T/C 18:48, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
- Having seen some of what has happened, let me just tell you that I do not think Leebo is being a stalker or disruptive or any of the other things you accuse him of (all of which violates the policy on no personal attacks). I also believe that the material on township planning you keep trying to insert is just not encyclopedic (at least in the Wikipedia sense of the word).
Let me give you an analogy. Suppose you decided to join an established web page on community planning that invites anyone to particpate. Suppose there also is a rule that no advertising is allowed on this web site. Now suppose you make a section devoted to your township and put up your planning ideas for it for anyone to see, but some one whose business is in your township persisted in putting ads for their business on your (hypothetical) web site. If that were the case, you would remove those ads (as they are against the policy and not what your plan is about). I imagine you would try to reason with the person, but if they persisted, you would keep removing their ads, wouldn't you? Now you would be playing the role Leebo (and others) are playing here, and the other person would be doing behavior on that website that is analagous to yours here on Wikipedia. I hope this gives you some insight into what is really going on here, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 00:39, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- Ailde, have you read the article ageism? It's a good read. Leebo T/C 12:00, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Yes I know about discrimination first hand, age and ethnic. I also see that you removed your likeness and reference to your age from your user page, probably a good thing, although, with all that stuff about video games, and such, and not having the age reference on your page, I would have guessed one of 15, or 16, and I say that sincerely. If you’re not working at a job, as I suspect, I would suggest you get one. If you have not attended college, as I suspect, I would suggest that you do. There is a lot more to life than the one reflected by your user page; I suggest you get one. Now, I don’t really want a dialog with you, I have been trying to avoid it, but you won’t leave me alone, unless I don’t log on at all, and I can't make changes unless I log on, so you got me. Look, I don’t agree with the way you operate, and you spoiled what I was looking forward to being a positive experience. I was not out here to raze havoc or do damage, so, just let me be. There are many other administrators, and users, let them judge what I do. I’m sure there is so much more you can focus on than me, and mine; I am just trying to do some small service to my township that has done so much for me, so UNCLE already. Ailde 12:57, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'd give you more information about myself, concerning my employer or education, but I wouldn't give such information to a stranger online. I work as an analyst at a large Connecticut insurance company (of which there are many). Also, what does a deceased radio host have to do with what age you think I am? My nickname is based on my given name, not the radio host or the Star Wars character. Lastly, I don't claim to know jack about you. Sure, I could make prejudicial comments about how old people don't understand the nuances of the electronic, collaborative encyclopedia, but I don't believe that and it would be petty and cowardly to reduce your personality to some snippets of info on the Internet. I know you understand what Wikipedia is about. I think you should take a step back and realize that my user page isn't the comprehensive story of who I am, nor does it claim to be. If you can't break from your misguided assumptions about me, then there's not much to dicsuss. Leebo T/C 21:26, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Towamencin Township Map.jpeg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Towamencin Township Map.jpeg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. βcommand 21:58, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Medco logo.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Medco logo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 01:28, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

Towamencin Township
[edit]Thanks for you comment on my talk page - in the future, please sign your comments with ~~~~. Last I checked, each of us is an "unpaid meddler" here - if the Wikimedia Foundation is paying you for your edits, please let me know how I can sign up for that too ;-) . You might also want to read WP:OWN (no one "owns" articles) and read the comment at the bottom of every page when you are editing it: Please note: If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed for profit by others, do not submit it.
My status as an administrator has nothing to do with my edits to Towamencin Township, Pennsylvania (which I believe I edited even before I became an admin). It did allow me to delete a copyrighted image that was falsely claimed to be "own work" (the trail map), but if I were not an admin I would have submitted it to WP:PUI. As for my Towamencin edits themselves, please discuss them on the township's talk page so an other interested editors can also comment. Thanks, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 13:50, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- Please refrain from making personal attacks (please see WP:NPA). I am not Leebo. As for your comment: You have no understanding of Towamencin, you probably couldn't find it on a map., if you look at the map of Montgomery County (above), you'll see I was the one who made it. Sorry you are leaving, please come back when you can understand and follow the policies and guidelines (and not take them as some sort of personal attack). Take care, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 16:20, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- I have removed my comment on your spelling at Talk:Towamencin Township, Pennsylvania and apologize that I offended you by making it - that was not my intention. If it makes you feel any better, I did not spell "inclusion" correctly there.
If you believe the image should be restored, please bring it up at WP:DRV. If you feel I am abusing my administrator priveleges, please bring it up at WP:AN/I. If User:Towamencin has an issue with my edits or actions, I encourage him or her to contact me and/or raise these issues at DRV or AN/I. Yours, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 20:13, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

- In the article for Towamencin Township, Pennsylvania I moved the names of the authors of the Plan to the reference and removed a direct link in the article (but kept the reference), renamed a section to comply with a guideline, and made some copyedits to the name section. These changes follow Wikipedia's guidelines and policies. I also removed a map that was a copyright violation with no "fair use" rationale (and falsely claimed to be own work). Here is a diff of my edits, I am sorry you feel this way about them. As mentioned above, if you want to contest what I have done, please take it up at one of the venues mentioned. Note on my user page
[edit]Can you not leave notes on my user page. That's what my talk page is for. I haven't been editing Wikipedia regularly for months, so I am really not in the situation to get into this kind of discussion. It's clear that you will carry a grudge against me for eternity over your misunderstanding of Wikipedia policy. But know this: You'll never read another word about it from me. Leebo T/C 00:59, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- By the way, I'd like to add that it doesn't seem appropriate to accuse other users of sockpuppetry without any kind of proof. I don't care if you hate me, and that doesn't seem likely to change, but I'd appreciate if you didn't level serious accusations of sockpuppetry at other editors without some modicum of evidence. I thought you claimed to be above that kind of baseless trolling. Leebo T/C 14:53, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Towamencin Township Logo.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Towamencin Township Logo.jpeg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
