The article All Squads for ICC Twenty 20 World Cup 2016 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - MrX 12:33, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not write about yourself

[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Hello, AdronWoakes. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Hastings, United Kingdom (disambiguation), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Abbottonian (talk) 12:17, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Hastings, United Kingdom

[edit]

Hello AdronWoakes,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Hastings, United Kingdom for deletion, because it appears to duplicate an existing Wikipedia article, Hastings.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Abbottonian (talk) 12:20, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your user subpage at User:AdronWoakes may not meet Wikipedia's user page guideline. If you believe that your user page does not violate our guideline, please leave a note on this page. Alternatively you may add {{Db-u1}} to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it, or you can simply edit the page so that it meets Wikipedia's user page guideline. I notice you already has the same article in your sandbox so I suggest you to change your userpage with something about you as a Wikipedian. GSS (talk) 13:50, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't attempt to move a page to a new title by copying its contents and pasting them to another page. Doing so loses the editing history, which must be kept as it is required for copyright attribution purposes. This account has been blocked from editing, because it has been used to evade a block on another account, and because it has continued the same kinds of disruptive editing that led to that account being blocked. The original block was for a short time, in the hope that it would persuade you to stop your disruptive editing, but since it is clear that you have no intention of doing so, both accounts are now blocked indefinitely. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of the talk page of your original account, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
