Welcome!
[edit]Hello, AdilAdi1998, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was User:AdilAdi1998/sandbox, which appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.
The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! GPL93 (talk) 23:13, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:AdilAdi1998/sandbox
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:AdilAdi1998/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. creffett (talk) 00:36, 24 October 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Wikipedia:Teahouse, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

I want to connect back to you on this. I want to know what is the Paid user means and how is it helping for the User to create the boss's biography in Wikipedia. I know it meant for those who are notable like Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and all the famous people. We want to initiate his biography as a venture capitalist and a philanthropic person and a founder of the WorldLink company. Any guidance or suggestion will be helpful. Also, I would like to share some of the article which will be fit in the Wikipedia website as it sounds neutral and independent notes. [1]As he is being recognized in the Dmagazine website. [2] Please see this link, its being recognized by the Inc.5000 rank #1636 in 2015 and now currently, it has become widely known for some of the companies. Paid editing disclosure required
[edit] As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:AdilAdi1998, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=AdilAdi1998|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 16:59, 25 October 2019 (UTC)

I did not reply for days as I am planning on how to rewrite the biography as a direct story as I did not want it to look overly promotional. I am still working on it and will reply back in the same thread. Kindly, I am requesting not to move the thread to archive or not to delete.
Thanks, Medhavi 24.155.190.164 (talk) 21:35, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
- The archival has already been made by Lowercase sigmabot III, Munninbot just notified you (neither of those are humans). Because the Teahouse is a heavy-traffic page, it is necessary to archive old threads, but you can simply open a new one with a link to the previous thread.
- You would do well to address the paid editing disclosure issue before making any new edits, though. TigraanClick here to contact me 09:46, 30 October 2019 (UTC)

In reply to your message to my personal email
[edit]You seem to misunderstand the purpose of Wikipedia: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia; it is not like LinkedIn and other social media sites that welcome people (or their employees) to write profiles for them. If you want to create a profile of Mr. Adi outside of your company website, turn to LinkedIn.
As an employee of Mr. Adi you have a Wikipedia:conflict of interest about him and hence are strongly discouraged from creating or editing a Wikipedia article about him or your company. Strictly speaking you are not actually forbidden from doing so, but you must comply with WP:PAID--compliance with this policy is not negotiable. In any case you are not likely to get any help in creating such an article.
If Mr. Adi is (or becomes) notable enough for a Wikipedia article, eventually some neutral person will create an article about him. But even then you and other employees would be strongly discouraged from editing it directly. —teb728 t c 21:51, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
(AdilAdi1998 (talk) 22:18, 7 June 2020 (UTC)) Thanks teb728 Can you tell me how can I do WP: Paid? from where do I need to send the payment and who is the person that I will be connecting with? Can you share the steps how to proceed with the articles and get help to write it? Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you! User:AdilAdi1998 (AdilAdi1998 (talk) 22:18, 7 June 2020 (UTC))
- Click on the link WP:PAID, and read the page that comes up. If you do not understand English, use Google Translate to translate it to your favorite language. There is no way you can pay to have a Wikipedia article written. My advice to you is:

[edit]AdilAdi1998 (talk) 20:09, 8 June 2020 (UTC) teb728 Do I have any other options on what I should do?Thanks AdilAdi1998AdilAdi1998 (talk) 20:09, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
- You have many other options: Most obviously, you could write anything you want on the WorldLink website. And there are other social media sites beside LinkedIn (for example Facebook) that accept profiles written by subjects or their employees.
- Wikipedia, however, is not like a social media site: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. As such it contains articles only about subjects who are important enough to have an article in an encyclopedia. And Wikipedia strongly discourages contributions written by the subjects of articles or by people who they pay to write for them.
- You have been warned several times that as a paid editor you must, must, must comply with WP:PAID. If you post again without complying, you likely will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. —teb728 t c 05:58, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
