If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Gustaf-Otto Adelborg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. References

Stick them in the article, and I'll withdraw my nomination quite happily. (They could do to be added to the Swedish article too, I suppose. Can't remember if you were one of the editors there, but you obviously can manage Swedish. If I'm wrong on that score, let me know and I'll add them over there.) You can add others things as External Links if you like. I've posted withdrawing the nomination. Peridon (talk) 20:25, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Some feedback and hints

[edit]

Hello AddyFBG! After having a look at your recent articles, I'd like to give you some feedback. The first is to really have a closer look at the "Welcome!" message above and the links in it. Your articles have too few internal links, are not sufficiently categorized and are not sufficiently referenced. This leaves a lot of work to other editors in order for the article to come up to the minimum standard expected of a Wikipedia article. There is not question in my mind (since I'm familiar with Swedish texts) that you've added articles on notable persons. However, when they have these quality issues, there is a much larger risk that they are nominated for deletion. So, in the long run, it is much more preferable to take some additional time on each article to make them better/more Wikipedia-adapted from the start. I hope we'll see additional contributions from you, done with this piece of advice in mind. Best regards, Tomas e (talk) 16:09, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
